Not too impressed by Wagerworks BJ

Been playing Table Blackjack at HardRock Casino (Wagerworks) and am down 60 units after 550 hands. Can't say I am too happy with what i've been seeing. Can't believe that I'm still being suckered month after month with their monthly bonus. According to the Wizardofodds risk of ruin statistics, theres about a 1 in 33 chance of this happening.

Anyone else experiencing 'bad luck' with wagerworks BJ?

I feel your pain... Had a run of bad luck playing Crypto BJ... Didn't help any that the "rebet" button is directly above the $25 chip, either. Lost a quick $50 that way.

Not sure about blackjack as it's not massively my game, but I find Wagerworks video poker to be the luckiest around for me! Hit five of a kind for 5000 coins, and my only royal flush ever for 4000 there. Considering I've probably played less than 100 hands there in my life, that's phenomenal... I've played thousands and thousands at MG casinos, nothing even close!

    I feel your pain also...
One of my worst BJ experiences I had was on getminted (also WagerWorks)
Only the first session was normal and after this they hammered me down, very very frustrating.

My first experience with Wagerworks was horrible, there is a thread about it here or at WOL, but overall my results are normal. I lost about £400 in wagering about £70,000 on blackjack in the past 6 months.

GrandMaster, you seem to have a very extensive knowledge base for BJ. Out of curiousity, what would you consider to be some of the best BJ casino's out there?

I'm more of a slots player these days, but I once started gambling BECAUSE of BJ. I'd love to hear about some of the places you'd recommend.

    Thank you kindly.

I think I just had one of the worst experience ever at BJ.
I just got the £25 bonus at Littlewoods and I lost it all wagering £42 at £2 a piece. I think chances of getting a result like this is very very low (the dealer managed to do at least 4 BJ in just 21 hands). Needless to say I withdrew my deposit and ran away.

I would've lowered the bet to £1, if your table allowed it. Make it last as long as possible while you're losing, increase when you're winning.

Not a lot to complain about, is there? If you win, you win; if you lose, you cash out your deposit.

This is just about the only true example of "bonus abuse" on the part of a player. Casinos and affiliates bleat about "abuse" all the time, when in fact the abuser is almost invariably the casino. In this case, the abuser is yourself. Congrats. I hope Littlewoods bar you.

FTR, the result is nothing much out of the ordinary. And, then again, it's hardly worth worrying about, nor should you engender nor expect any sympathy for your risk-free experience.
