    Question Casinos that accept WESTERN UNION

    Hi All. I'l like to obtain the names of the MICROGAMING casinos that will accept Western Union deposits. 32RED is the only one I know of at this time. Since I've had a terrible run of luck there I'd like to try another. Anyone know of other ones that take Western Union? Nikkos

    They should know better.

    It's not allowed.

    Just went to their site:

    Western Union strictly prohibits the use of its Internet service to directly or indirectly fund illegal Internet gambling and/or illegal activities.
    Basically you are asking for trouble.

    Bad, bad 32 red.

    I give them CASH

    Hi. I do NOT use the Internet Western Union service. I take CASH into a Western Union office and pay a fee and have the money sent to them. I don't know if there is any difference. They accept my transfer and give me the credits. I'm no lawyer. I just want to gamble a bit. Nikkos

    If WU knows what you're doing with the money... they do know, right?

    If you read it carefully, it only prohibits the use of the internet service to fund ILLEGAL internet gambling. Even in the US, where it has been a contentious issue, only Nevada and a few other states prohibit online gambling. The US Department of Justice likes to give the impression that online gambling is illegal, but to my knowledge it has not taken any case to court, perhaps because such a court case could establish thet online gambling is not prohibited by federal law. Senator Kyl's annual effort to introduce a law banning online gambling is also a sign that online gambling is currently legal in the US.

    If you read their full T&Cs, they explicitly ban it:

    Western Union Online Terms and Conditions (English law version)

    ...

    As used in our Terms and Conditions, the terms
    (c)

    "prohibited purpose" refers to any unlawful purpose; the purpose of making or receiving payment for gambling services, gambling chips or gambling credits; the purpose of making or receiving payment for banking or other financial services; or the purpose of sending a payment to yourself as the recipient;

    ...

    2.3
    You acknowledge and agree that:

    ...

    (c)

    you will not use the Western Union Online Service for or in connection with any prohibited purpose;
    Whether they have different rules offline, I somehow doubt.

    Can of WORMS...

    I didn't want to open a can of worms here. I JUST wanted to know the names of casinos that accept Western Union payments. Thats all. I had no idea that Western Union had some rules against this. No, the Western Union office NEVER asked me what the money was for and I never gave that information because how I spend my money is MY business I feel and not any agency that is making money from the transaction. I do not transfer the money directly to the casino. It goes to employees I suppose. I never gave it any thought. I posted the SAME question here several months ago. 32RED was posted as an answer. Simple. Too much discussion that was off my subject. I STILL want to know the answer. If Western Union ever refuses my money then so be it. I wonder if the gas stations will begin to prohibit fuel sales to anyone travelling to Las Vegas with the intention of gambling. Nikkos

    Unlawful is the key word here. It then goes on to define examples that "may" be unlawful in your jurisdiction. As far as I'm concerned.. online gambling hasn't been cited as being illegal where I live. Only in some people's minds.
