Clearly the parents are responsible and are a party to it. You can say this about any of the stunts that involved other people: our friend who sabotaged the Olymics, he's an individual with his own mind, right? Noone forced him, right? So it's his fault, right? So Golden palace aren't responsible, right?
Bullshit. Golden Palace are the moving force behind all this sabotage / stupidity. But hey, let's blame everyone else, why don't we?
LMAO.
No idea when - I only stumbled across it two days ago myself. It's in the "news" section, in case you missed it:Originally Posted by casinomeister

KGC Investigates Golden Palace
In the past two weeks, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) has received numerous complaints concerning an incident at the Olympic Games in Athens involving a person who ‘streaked’ an event displaying the name of one of the KGC’s permit holders: Golden Palace.
The KGC did not approve or condone the incident in question and does not approve or condone this type of ‘marketing’ by its permit holders.
After investigating the Athens incident and meeting with representatives of Golden Palace, the KGC has directed that:
1. Golden Palace will not use, promote, encourage or fund this type of ‘marketing’ ever again, and
2. Given the seriousness of the incident and the negative effect it has had on the community’s reputation, Golden Palace will make a substantial donation to Kahnawake organizations to be identified by the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake.
The KGC is satisfied with Golden Palace’s cooperation throughout and considers the matter closed.
For further information, contact the Kahnawake Gaming Commission at 450-635-1076.

Publicity works both ways. I will be in Vegas in September at the aff conference. I may dress as a baby, diaper, bib and dummy with "Golden Palace F**KED UP MY LIFE" on my back.
I am not a happy chappy.
** Well-well well!! I thought that putting the image of Lara Croft on a 'diet' was harsh, but this!! I think, that in this case, there are two parties to blame to this. The parents AND the casino. Yet, as much as it is a 'moral' issue, they have not done anything against the law (as far as I can figure). As a parent myself, I believe that it is the PARENT's responsibility to protect their child against harm to the best of their ability! In this case, the casino exploited this child, and the parents did not protect it at all. Although no physical harm has come to the child like (say) in a porno industry, the phsycological damages could be seen as child-abuse too. The parent's actions will leave this child scarred for life - even when it is old enough to change the name .... on the other hand... the kid might actually grow up as a strong individual, riding this name for his own financial gain as it gets older!
Either way. I truly believe they were both at fault here, in a way that society predict moral standards. At least my own. In the end, who is to make this call? Not everyone subscribes to the same moral values as set by 'society'. This is a hard one, and I find myself torn on this issue... As a parent, I say "Crusify them, Group AND Parents" as a business person i say "Well, it is a clever idea, is it against the law?" Very hard indeed. **
This is going to be a great promotional piece for Senator Kyle's latest bill.
Golden Palace probably doesn't want online gaming to be legalized and regulated in the US, it would just add competition to their landscape, but if Kyle's latest goes through than GP is going to see a significant hit as American banks block all online gambling related transactions.
One of the big criticisms of online casinos is that they don't block access by minors.
It's a great place for someone like you! Go play there.Originally Posted by Doctor Carlos

Sure the parents probably needed the money, but I can guarantee you that the $15,000 MIGHT make a dent in this child's therapy bills over their lifetime....really doubt it though.
