Casino on net holds a position between the 100 most visited sites based on Alexa : http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=888.com . I think it has a database of more 10 million registered players around the world.

This is a tough one. You can get an idea on how much traffic a site receives by checking out a few sites, but they are not error free. For instance, I don't think Alexa registers AOL users, and only those using the toolbar are counted.

This only shows the traffic that the casino receives on their casino website. You don't know how many people are downloading and installing the software.

(this is a few months ago and the traffic has changed for most of these sites since then). Casinomeister is probably one of the higher ranked portal/casino information type sites. And I would find it safe to say the highest ranked site that spends zilch on marketing or buying traffic, and that is run by one person.

That MetricMarkets tool is a great find. Although it is somewhat inaccurate judging the estimated traffic it gives for the sites I run.

True, but it's good to use as a comparison tool since it registers websites in the same way (I'm guessing).

As for the largest casino group, has to be 888.com / casino on net - their pure financial muscle has allowed them to have a customer base of nearly 10million, although of these I do not know the percentage of active customers.

Regarding the most visited portals. It has to be between the likes of Winner Online, got2bet, online casino reports, casinomeister and a few others that rank highly naturally in the search engines.
