The waiting time is about a week, and my local banks dont want to take checks. The way different countries, and different banks act are just way different. I had to argue with them to even have the check redeemed. They just said, ask for them to send the funds by wire. Well i wouldn't have wanted a wire either. Neteller is perfect. But what if they wouldn't have taken the check. Also my bank took about a week to send the funds to my bank account from the check (this is my banks fault), but i think checks are part of ancient history, and shouldnt be used at all.

After the first withdrawal everything works like a charm, but i dont understand why you verify addresses with a check when you also verify them with utilitybill and picture id. Those verification methods should be enough. They are enough for every other online casino i know.

My bank wouldn't have cashed the check from Lasseter's if I hadn't had a good repoir with them. I think alot of banks in the U.S. must do a double-take when someone tries to cash their check.

What was the problem with Lasseter's check?

I am not too pleased at this point, seems to me like they will take their sweet ass time to send the check out and difficulty cashing it sounds like more of a headache to deal with. I spoke with them on Monday and supposedly it was going out that day, but then today I am told it went out yesterday, sounds like the run around to me. Its just another one of these stupid hoakey things that online casinos do to piss ya off. I would rather just have the money refunded to my card and not even bother with the damn check. Blah blah blah, its our policy to do this and that, pretty much giving themselves excuses to drag their feet.

Another thumbsdown experience gambling online, this is a joke.

    Hi toofast4u,
I am sorry to hear that you have been given 2 different responses as to when your check was sent. If you can contact me on a private message with your user name for Lasseters, I will speak to our customer care about it. I know you expect to hear this from a casino, but our customer care is really, really good and I would like the information they gave clarified for you. In regard to the sending of the check for a players first withdrawal, there is nothing more I can add other than what I have explained in a previous post. It is an unfortunate method that must be used to ensure we remain Government regulated and can continue to offer the level of safety and security in gambling that we do.

tim5ny, in relation to your bank querying your check from us, can you elaborate with more details. I have never come across this before and would like some more details please.

Thanks again for letting us know your issues.

    Kind Regards

I have rec'd cashouts by check on 5 seperate occasions. I have always rec'd my checks within 10 days max. I am located in the US and yes I can see where some banks may have a problem, however when my bank stated they may have to hold the funds I pointed out the checks are written from a US bank and never had a problem getting the funds. I do not use NetTeller and actually prefer this method of delivery. The peace of mind in dealing with a casino that offers excellent customer service and the assurance that I will actually rec'v my winnings far outweighs any inconvenience of waiting a week or so to rec my payouts.

3 Years ago, when I had my first cashout it was delivered to me in about 10 days. It was even in Hong Kong dollars and it was simple to redeem at my bank. For a first withdrawal,I really think its ok.

Today marks 13 days since the check has been sent according to Lasseters, but still nothing, were it a small amount I would not care but this is a fairly sizable amount so I take it very seriously because I am counting on this money. I would expect a couple extra days extra to be within the normal sort of delay, but I am giving it about 1 week before I start getting pretty upset, I would think that lasseters would want to use some other method than 'snail mail' just to protect themselves. whenever sending money I always use USPS priority with signature required, so I know if and when the money arrives at its destination.

I spoke with support representatives several times and had agreed to use a quicker method of post at my expense such as mentioned above, but apperantly that didn't happen.

I will wait for little while longer, but not forever.

Yes, I have been in contact with them and they have been cooperative so far, the check has not arrived as of yet making it about 2.5 weeks or so. I am giving it a couple more days before I have them stop payment on the cheque it and refund the money back to my CCD, which will take yet another week, it does suck because I am counting on it and I do need it as quickly as possible at this point, waiting another week is going to cause some complications. I am kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, I cancel the cheque today and it shows up tomorrow then I still gotta wait another week to get the money, or if I wait it out, and it doesn't show up, its still going to be another week beyond that point.

I do think, it would be a good idea for cheques over $500 or so be sent out with some sort of 'tracking' associated with them, it would likely only cost $5 to do and I am sure that no one would complain about paying $5 for the extra security. That would have totally made this 100% less painless. Maybe you guys at lasseters could take that as a suggestion. I don't mind waiting for a cheque at all, but when more than 2 weeks pass and I see nothing it gets really frustrating to go to the mailbox every day and not see it there.
