Are there any pure Blackjack specialist casinos?

My favourite game is Blackjack, but wondering if there are any pure Blackjack sites out there in terms of variety of games to play.

I know Harrods has about 6 types of blackjack games but has any online casino tried marketing just a pure blackjack service?

    cheers

I have never heard of an online casino with only blackjack.

Global Player who just went on casinomeisters accredited casinos list has quite a few variations to choose from though.

For some reason, many casinos seem to have a habit of naming themselves as specialist in some field but are in fact nothing of the sort. Allslots and Alljackpots spring to mind!

BJ is no exception. Blackjack Ballroom is in fact no different to the rest of the non descript MG clones and I'm sure there are many others.

In terms of variation though, play Single deck at cryptos and chartwell, surrender and switch at playtech and minor rule variation ones at MG. Harrods is indeed your all round best bet for some properly interesting (and generously small edge) games

So does anyone think there is scope for a blackjack only casino? Where there would be between 5 and 10 types of blackjack on offer?

It would be interesting to see if a blackjack only can survive. As a blackjack player, I don't like the distractions of slots, poker, craps and other games around me.

    cheers

Why should they? MG and RTG both offer several different BJ-variants in additions to many other games. Just don't see the motivation for going all BJ...

I always thought the blackjack was an easier game for people to play and indeed start off with when it comes to card games compared to poker.

There seems to be plenty of dedicated poker sites out there and indeed poker covered in the media - celeb poker shows, so wonder if blackjack is just waiting to explode? i caught on UK satellite TV a celeb blackjack show last month.

There are potentially as many variants of blackjack, just like there are of poker and folks like the Wizard of Odds is even creating new games as on the Harrods site.

    cheers

I doubt that BJ will ever be as popular as poker for the simple reason that BJ is a very boring game compared to poker. Let's face it, when you know the perfect strategy there is no question of what to do on any given hand. Poker is completely different in that respect. Of course, it's statistically safe to play, say, AA or KK but most of the game in poker is the betting. And there is no perfect strategy for that.
