Question Wager Contest and Reverse Cash In Drawings

Some groups such as Fortune Lounge and others ofter have some wagering contest, with winners declared by wager amounts made over set periods. Winners' names are often listed, but not the amounts wagered. Has anyone been awarded amounts in these contests , and if so what range of money has been wagered? (Maybe these are listed but I don't see them). This might impact the casino I elect to play at, but not be my sole reason for play if some reasonable amount might get me some bonus. If I know I can wager at some locations a fixed amount to get cash this would be my choice such as Omni.

Likewise through experience I avoid reversing withdrawals. One of my favorite casinos always has drawings for people that have reversed cash ins during the week. Likewise I have no idea of the number of people participating. IE if I had a 1 in 100 chance of getting money from the offering I probably would not do it. But if my chance was 1 in 3 I might risk this. Likewise I am unsure if they would prevent churning of money to get more entries into the pool.

Just looking for some info.

Thanks,

Buck

Wager Tournaments

Ok, Here goes.

Casino Action

They run 2 big wager tournaments, one on Jacks or better Power Poker (My favourite), and the other on 5 Reel Drive Video Slot. Unlike many others, they have a scoreboard listing players first name and initial of last name plus the 'score' They define score as 'average wager x hands played' This is a posh term for wager throughput. At Casino Action, the score is exactly equal to the amount wagered, and the score is updated each hour. Total wager varies. The biggest players will typically wager between 40000 and 100000 credits in the Power Poker, and 20000 to 60000 in the Video Slot. Prizes are 300, 200, 100, 75 (& 6 lesser ones) in the Power Poker, and 200, 125, 100, 75 (& 6 lesser ones) in the slot. If you are not prepared to go for the top 3 or 4, the prize is small. There is also a monthly Blackjack tournament, play 5 days at any casino in the group to enter that month. You can have one go for EACH CASINO, so open an account at all 7 and have 7 tries at Blackjack. a 1p or 1c spin on Double Magic each day constitutes 'play' so go for it!

Other Casinos that offer 'live' scoreboards I know of:-

Cryptoloic, such as Intercasino, Littlewoods

Reef Club (Newish) Related to 888 casino-on net

Bear in mind that the house edge on video slots is much larger than on Jacks or better video poker, so it is a better deal even though it may be necessary to wager more to win.
Casino Action prizes are 'bonus' money, and go into the bonus account, winnings can be transferred to the real account once the WR have been met.

Intercasino offer the biggest prizes, and entry is a fixed fee for virtual chips, but victory is based on profit and strategy, and not bulk wagering ability. You at least can risk a fixed sum in a tournament, risk to reward ratio is a big issue in the bulk wager tournaments, having name and country flag on scoreboard can be a reward in itself.

Lucky Chance have generous bonuses and run wager challenges based on a fixed wager amount for a fixed reward as well as a competitive wager tournament, sadly, no scoreboard, a big problem - would you run the 100 metres blindfold?

Beware their Blackjack tables!!! For a variant that has '6 decks to the players advantage, unlike others that use 8', the dealer can be unbelievable - it seems to go into 'kill' mode after a while, and you can never win more than 2 or 3 on the trot, but the dealer regularly gets 10 or more wins on the trot.
I cannot prove anything, but they give such huge bonuses - where does it come from?

I joined a casino this week and wagered to win their bonus ($200).

I did win the bonus and a bit more.

The same day they e-mailed me and said they were giving me a further free bonus of $100 for playing.

The following day they e-mailed me to say that I had been awarded a prize of $75 in their wagering contest that day ( I didn't even know there was a contest running whilst I was playing!!).

I wagered just over $10000 in my session and apparently finished fourth in their contest, which was a day long thing apparently.

I don't know whether this is typical for these contests as I have never played specifically to win on these events.

It's always amusing when casinos send out their 'Everyone's a winner' e-mails which announce prizes for "most deposited", "most wagered" and "most misfortune". You'd think they'd try to hide the fact that the same people often "win" in every category

LOL, you mean in all 3 categories? That's funny!

"Congratulations to John Smith, our winner for 'most deposited'!"

"Congratulations to John Smith, our winner for 'most wagered'!"

"Congratulations to John Smith, our winner for 'most misfortuned'!"

What is so funny? You deposit more, therefore you bet more and lose more!

Seeing the same name thing up there reminds me of when you see the 'big winner' lists at a lot of casinos. Often the same person will have won $10,000, $20,000 etc etc within a matter of hours.

How much must these people wager!?!?!???? Madness.

I'm not at all jealous that I've not yet made the list
