Online craps?

I just recently overcame my fear of the craps table. For years I have enjoyed watching the action, but have never placed a bet. Now, after learning the game, I am hooked. I would like to play online, however I am concerned about a fair game. Will I be able to place the same wagers I can at a real table? Can I press my bets when I think the dice are hot? Last but not least, are the dice fair in an online casino? That would be my number one concern, relying on a rng to decide the dice. Any advice would be helpful

All I can think to suggest is try it in practice mode for a while to see if you can make the bets you want, although if you've been watching the action for years, you probably have some idea.

As far as the rng goes, I wouldn't worry about it. Seems to be random enough for BJ, that's for sure. If you are really worried about, record the results of each roll and before long you'll be able to tell if the results are what's expected. I think you could even do this while watching or in practice mode because reputable casinos should be using the same rng for practice mode as real mode.

Who was it that the Wiz removed from his "good" list because it was clear that practice mode was rigged to give favorable results and lure the player in?
Do you remember?

If I know a casino's practice mode isn't the same as the real mode, I don't think I'd play there.

The reality is I rarely play in practice mode anyway.

Elka System/Oyster Gaming Casinos. I don't think they were ever on any "good" list, but the results of the practice play roulette at netgaming.com were just off the charts and this caused them to be blacklisted. My results were similar, I won 48 out of 60 even money bets if I remember correctly.

The problem with craps online is that you dont get more than 3x odds, that I know of. Personally I only play the pass and come with full odds as it is the best bet. So I would rather play at Casino Royale in Vegas as they offer 100x odds and $1 min bet. With that said, one time about I month ago I deposited at Intercasino with out a deposit, I was drunk. I turned my $40 into $860 playing craps, seems fair to me

Another problems is that several brands of software don't calculate the allowed size of the odds bets on the don't pass and don't come correctly.

I played in fun mode for about an hour today @ breakaway casino. It seemed odd that I couldn't press my bets on the cross line, and I lost at least one of my hardways bets even if the number didn't match. Example...I cover all hardways with a $5.00 bet each, dice come up 5 ( 4 and 1), and for some reason I lose my 4 hardway bet. Now like I said I am new at craps, but I remember playing in Trump Plaza last week and not losing a hardway bet unless the number came up soft. What gives? Is this some kind of online rule?

Hardway 4 only loses to an "easy 4" or a seven. If you lost to a roll of 5 then there is something very wrong with the software.

As Chucho says craps live in Vegas is better on the odds multiples (and no worries of fairness ). And its the most fun game in sin city by miles!!!

I play alot in B&M casinos but online I find it a bit soul destroying to be honest. Online it just doesnt cut it for some reason.
