Question 200% Play Bonus - but I don't understand the T&C's !!

Hi folks,

Is this Casino Bonus a good incentive to play ? I trust this company 100% but I am not sure I fully understand the terms and conditions of the Bonus. I can always ask their support staff for more info once I get the gist of the deal.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheers

PS Have replaced Casino's name with XYZ in case I get accused of advertising

Here are conditions :

DISCLAIMER

Please read these rules carefully and make sure that you fully understand them before agreeing to be bound by them.

This offer applies to FIRST TIME REAL MONEY PLAYERS, will be applied to their FIRST DEPOSIT ONLY, and cannot be combined with any other bonus or promotion. The PLAY BONUS will not be given for future deposits.

To qualify for this promotion, you must download and install the casino software, register for Real Play and deposit a minimum of £ 25 into your Real Play account.

Qualifying players will have their account credited with a 200% PLAY BONUS of up to £ 200. Any initial deposit of more than £ 100 will receive a £ 200 PLAY BONUS.

You are allowed only ONE ACTIVE ACCOUNT. Winnings will only be dispersed to players having one account. If you have more than one account, all winnings will be VOID. If the name on your account does not match the name on the credit card(s) used to make deposits to the account, all winnings in that account will be VOID. Any abuse or fraudulent activity with relation to your account or any bonuses awarded or offered, will cause your account to be blocked and any winnings will immediately be VOID.

Credits issued during the promotional period MUST be wagered FOUR (4) times the total amount deposited (credits purchased + promotional bonus) BEFORE making any withdrawal. (For example, if you play two hands of Poker and wager 5 credits on each, this represents a total of 10 credits wagered. If you win one of these hands and lose the other, your credit balance will remain the same; the amount wagered (10 credits) counts toward fulfilling your promotional obligation).

All PLAY BONUS credits are for wagering purposes only. No withdrawal will be honored for an amount less than the PLAY BONUS. Upon your FIRST withdrawal (regardless of the number of deposits), any amount up to the equivalent value of the PLAY BONUS will be deducted from your play balance or winnings prior to settlement. The first credits wagered will be deducted from your deposit(s) rather than from the PLAY BONUS.

By claiming this promotion, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, or Sicbo cannot be played until you have cashed in after wagering 4X the total amount deposited or your play balance reaches zero. Failure to comply will void any and all winnings, as well as play bonus credits, and may result in your account being locked at the sole discretion of the casino.

All withdrawals will be subject to audit before being processed. XYZ reserves all rights to void bonuses or any winnings for failed audits. XYZ reserves the right to modify these rules or cancel this promotion at its sole discretion.

In any case, a first withdrawal must occur within a period of 14 days from the date said bonus is credited to your account, or such bonus credits will be deducted from your play balance at our sole discretion.

This bonus is subject to our official Terms and Conditions, which shall be binding in all cases. You must comply at all times with the standards and/or laws in any jurisdiction where you are located or residing.

If you have any questions regarding our policies, please contact our 24 HR Customer Service Department for assistance.

XYZ reserves the right to lock accounts at any time, if registration information is discovered to be incorrect or misleading, or for any other reason it may deem sufficient at its sole discretion. XYZ is restricted to individuals of legal age only. Minors cannot play.

All promotions are available only once per person, family, household address, e-mail address, credit card number, and environments where computers are shared (university, fraternity, school, public library, workplace, etc.).

This promotional bonus may not be used in combination with any other promotion currently offered by XYZ.

By participating in this bonus, you agree to be bound by these rules and to the decisions of XYZ whose decisions are final and binding in all respects.

Any applicable taxes and fees in connection with any winnings awarded to you are your sole responsibility.

I know I've read this one before, I think its a playtech, perhaps sunny group.

In anycase, what its saying is, you'll get a 200% bonus on your first deposit, but its a phantom bonus. That is, its good for playing with and winning with, but you never get to withdraw it. So say you deposit 100, you now have 300 to play with. You wager the whole thing 4x, avoiding the banned games, and if you have 201 or more left, you can withdraw. When you do, anything you withdraw automatically has the bonus (in this case 200) removed from it and you get the rest. so say you break even after wagering and have 300 in your account. You withdraw 300 and you actually get paid 100. Make sense?

Thanks Mac.

Now the next question you should ask is, what is the best strategy for making money off this kind of bonus. That will get a few replies at least.

Thanks JPM for that.

More or less my thinking, except for "No withdrawal will be honored for an amount less than the PLAY BONUS"

ie deposit 100 making 300, but decide to cut my losses as I am losing and stop with a balance of 225 leaving 25 which I cannot withdraw as it is less than the 200 Play Bonus.

I guess my interpretation above is wrong but now I can at least ask support for clarification.

Incidently I think it's a good deal - do you ?

Thanks again.

nope, in this case you could withdraw 25 bucks. You can withdraw everything above the bonus amount i.e. above 200 .

btw: what casino are we talking about?

The bonus amount counts towards the withdrawal amount. In your case you could withdrawal 225 (after completing the wagering requirements) and the casino would deduct the 200 bonus.

So glad you asked, though I've never personally played at a "sticky" bonus.

At another forum where I work and hang out mostly, the consensus for handling this type of bonus is the following:

Deposit $100, get the $200 sticky bonus. Bet all $300 (if the table limit will allow you) on one hand of blackjack. Or bet $150 in case you have to double or split. If you win the all-or-nothing bet, you've got $600. Flat-bet low or at table minimum until you reach the WR and then withdraw.

Statistically speaking, you should lose approximately $6 of your $600 as a result of your flat-betting. Therefore, you withdraw $594, lose the $200 bonus and end up with $394 ($100 deposit, $294 profit).

Of course, you could lose the $300 bet and you're out a $100 deposit. If you can stand the risk of that loss, it's a chance at some quick money.

If you want to follow this route, you are better of putting everything on player or banker in baccarat, an even money bet in single 0 roulette, or pass/don't pass in craps.
