Roulette Betting - Is this any good?

A friend of mine told me he's betting this way. Don't know though if it's really any good.

He bets 35 units each on any of the chosen combo and 3 units on ZERO, then bets on it for 5 straight times.

RED-BIG-EVEN
RED-BIG-ODD
RED-SMALL-EVEN
RED-SMALL-ODD
BLK-BIG-EVEN
BLK-BIG-ODD
BLK-SMALL-EVEN
BLK-SMALL-ODD

Criteria for choosing one of the eight combo is, he looks at the last 9 results, see which among the individual even bets is the MORE DOMINATING. Then bets on the combo for 5 straight times.

He said he is not winning much, but ok for his own standard.

Any thoughts on this?
