New MG Slot "Great Griffin"............

Seriously! This slot is very very VERY bad. They have so many options of great slots..i mean they can take "Adventure Palace" or "Agent Jane Blond" and turn them into 243 lines slots. They can make a summer slot in the "Santas Wild Ride" style with 3 wild options, i gladly take that. They could replicate the popular "old" LOTR slot with new symbols etc...

Yet they crank out crap slots like that Egypt slot, Grand Journey...others....and now Great Griffin, with the Griffin random feature that appears almost every 3rd spin. Slow and boring...and the´other features are boring aswell.

I can´t imagine any hardcore slot players liking this slot. The Dolphin Coast of 2012!!? Though the year is far from over...

God i miss the old LOTR slot.

Sounds like a "Golden Goose" revamp. Mostly, the damn goose would interrupt play just to lay an egg with a prize that barely made 3x bet. They made 4 of these, and then stopped. I think there is a similarity with the new LOTR and the Gollum that gives out 1x or 2x bet by tipping Scrooge's small change bucket into the winbox. Both are irritating as they promise so much, and give so little. I expect a bonus feature to give more than a low multiple of the bet.

Now, i`m pretty sure I speak for most of us when I say - Instead of rushing to keep up the new game releases every month hype, give the slot dev team time to think of something original, it`s getting more predictable than a team beginning with Manchester winning the premiership title.

I have to agree if they are going to repeat themselves, I'd take the old LOTRs with some new symbols. Lady of the Bracelet perhaps?

IMO, this slots does have potential to hit big, think about x10 and random wild(s)
but the line numbers are too high

if it is a 5 - 25 liner

it will be a great game

They all have potential to hit big, look at TSII, disregarding the actual jackpot, how many times have any of us had a feature round hit of anywhere near it`s potential?, in fact the only feature that does this is Val`s 10 FS`s x5 multiplier, we`ve all hit Thor`s and wilds on this I bet, now where is the same hit in the Loki/Odin/Thor x5 features?, bearing in mind you get more free spins with these features so theoretically the odds are better, don`t even get me started on the Mild Storm returns lol.

It`s getting old hat now, super - duper variance with huge potential of big hits but only if you sit on them long enough to plough 50 million+ spins through them

Kind of annoys me like RTG's Hidden Treasure, however that bird sometimes drops 5 wilds at a time.

Must admit, I started playing it and started to get a little bored and that griffin feature gives you the s$#$&

But I did manage 4 scatters x10 in free spins, and going by the paytable this is one game where the bonus is multiplied if hit in free spins.

Still don't think I will play it too much and you can see why NetEnt took out best software provider of the year.

Edit: me_and_ed: The griffin feature dropped in 5 wilds? that's handy to know as the most I got was 3 and he always dropped them where I didn't need them or already had a win.

I Kinda like the game.............the slot it self and the sounds make me feel like i,m in a land base casino. Mind you I only played for a few min and after playing for a long time I may feel like shooting the bird.
Cant wait for the new Batman, mind you I dont get so excited over new games for MG as they really havnt brought out anything really new. More like copies of old games, but Im sure they have something up there sleeves.........lets hope.
