Misleading Terminology Used @ RTG Casinos "Overnight Express"

When a $30 fee is implemented to make a withdraw using a method that
states "overnight express", what type of service comes to your mind?

The picture that's painted in my mind is waiting the 2 or 3 days for the withdraw
to be processed, then the casino sends the check off to be delivered using an
    overnight shipping company.

Okay, so I made a withdraw at one of our favorite accredited RTG casino and waited
the 3 days it took them to "review" my withdraw. After the withdraw was processed, I asked
customer service to provide me with a tracking number so I could get an approximate time of
delivery. They explained to me, "please note that your withdraw was processed on 01/24/2012 and
it takes 4 to 6 business days to get your check"... This is NOT "overnight express".

Well then why the &*#$ would you state OVERNIGHT!?

I'm fairly sure that the site is of Western descent but I'm not sure about the management being so.

Considering they're an accredited casino, I'm sure they're not misleading anyone.

Sometimes CSRs quote much longer timeframes....the old "under-promise over-deliver" idea. You may find it does arrive much quicker.

It's probably not a good idea to call it "overnight express' as most things coming from internationally take 2-3 days, and the cheque will be coming from overseas im shure.

A better description would be just "express". Maybe you could contact mangement and ask them to change it ...they mite even pop somethink in you're account.

See, I thought about that... When I contacted CS they said that they changed delivery
methods and now use UPS instead of whatever they were using. According to them,
that's the reason why it's not overnight.

Pardon me but I think that explanation is bullshit. That word "overnight" needs to
be changed a.s.a.p if checks aren't sent out overnight after it's processed for $30
like it states on their site.

So, since it's not "overnight" anymore, why keep the $30 processing fee?
It's doesn't cost me $30 to write a check to my electric company.

I don't know which casino this comes from but I do know that "overnight delivery" does not mean the next day delivery.

I live in a part of Texas that does not have overnight FedEx delivery. So even if someone sends me something that they have sent 'overnight delivery', it's going to take 2-3 days to get here. I have had FedEx packages stopped at the hub 60 miles from my house and not get them until 48 hrs. later. I could have driven and picked it up quicker. LOL!

Anyhoo...yes, agreed - if you're paying a fee for express or 'overnight' delivery and it's taking as long as normal delivery, you should contact the rep and ask about being reimbursed that fee. However, I think you might want to wait to see how long it actually takes - the chat people don't seem to be completely clued in sometimes, just because they told you something doesn't necessarily make it so.

    A couple things

    1) The "overnight express fee" has really just evolved into a "our processor charges us a fortune to transfer the money from our casino to you and we're trying to recoup some/all of the cost fee". A few years ago cashout fees were mostly unheard of. Now, unfortunately, they seem pretty commonplace.

    2) Don't play the "they should remove XXX old information" game. Not because it's unreasonable to expect ... but because it's going to leave you bitterly disappointed, because the majority of casinos don't keep anything on their website/client up to date, except possibly their endless pages of T&C.

Every time I see references to UseMyWallet as a deposit option I want to put my fist through my screen.

Come on , as if the deposits I've lost and the attempted withdraws I've reversed haven't helped them
recoup their costs enough? Pay up as fast as you take! and if you advertise a word like "overnight" and charge me
$30 to process the transaction, that check better be hand delivered by an overnight Fed-Ex truck driver. Period.
