I've been looking a lot at 3Dice's statistics website, with all the fancy X-bet's, and thought....well, it looks pretty impressive, but really....it's worthless, if not misleading.
Doing this and only stating the X-bet COULD be a very convenient way of making things look a lot better, than they really are (From a players perspective).
There is a hugenormeous difference between a 1500Xbet win from a 15 cents bet and a 1500Xbet win from a $1,50 bet.
If you have 300 people betting $1.50 at a certain game, and you list the wins of the 4 people betting 15 cents, it looks pretty impressive, but is misleading, and at best not interesting for the average player imo.
So let's spice it up a bit Enzo, and get the REAL numbers, together with the X-bet ones, on the table ...it's a challenge, and I know you love those
(I really don't hope you'll be using the "players privacy" excuse for not doing this, since you're already using players names on there).

I think it probably will be a privacy issue. I know that I don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry knowing how much I bet and how much I win, and I'm pretty sure many players would object as well. You will notice that in chat real play wins come up as "someone won $xxx" for privacy reasons.

I'm not sure what is misleading about the status quo..? Expressing wins on terms of xbet is the most sensible and logical method, and gives a far better picture of exactly how much the player "won". If a high roller wins $400 betting $5 its far more misleading to just have "nifty29 won $400 on slots" as it tells nothing about bet size.

I just can't fathom what is wrong with expressing winner information in terms of xbet, I really can't. Whether someone wins 1500xbet playing $15 or .15c is immaterial. The fact is that it was obviously a really cool hit and it COULD happen to you regardless of what you bet...which is the whole point of having that winners page in the first place, no?

IMO you're being unreasonable, bordering on disrespectful, by telling Enzo what he can and can't say in reply I.e the privacy issue, especially given that you know it is a factor. It's like asking "I want to know why sometimes slots are hot and sometimes they're cold, and I don't want to hear any of that variance nonsense". I just think that last paragraph of yours was quite unnecessary.

It could very well be misleading, and certainly doesn't tell anyone much. True it tells you, that someone won 1500X bet, but it certainly doesn't tell you it could or does happen at any betsize What I would like is both the x-bet, and either betsize or the win in cash amount. This would be far more informative for everyone, and could for some help choose betsize etc. if you want to actually USE the statistics for anything. I'm guessing here....but I think 3Dice is putting these statistics up to "promote" 3Dice with some "hefty" wins, and not so much for the sake of the players. All I'm asking, is ALL the information, they have available, so that I can USE the info. and the promotion value would be much greater, showing some "hefty" money amounts instead.

I'm under no obligation to be extra respectful to 3Dice, and I have a hard time seeing how asking for the full picture is DISrespectful.
I know very well, that privacy is an issue, but I'm really not asking for more than is already there, in form of screenshots, and "congratulations "winner name""
Finally ... you're right...I DON'T want to hear th variance nonsense...I know all there is to know about it, so I'd like the REAL numbers, instead of, to me, unuseable ones.

Nifty has been doing pretty good lately, up until....what was it....yesterday, where he managed to have a couple of members either thrown off, or quit the forum themselves, by starting shit with them....again.
I don't know how he does it, but at times, I find it rather amuzing, but ofcourse it's not healthy for the forum, or the honest people who pay the price. I think it's because some people haven't learned how to handle Nifty, so they end up wanting to beat the crap out of him....since that's not possible on a forum, they start yelling at him. THAT really tickles him, because he knows, noone can reach him. I think it's far better to ignore the stuff he posts, ONLY to get in a fight...that way, you don't tickle his ego, and you'll survive on the forum.
I rather like Nifty's sarcasm, sometimes, and I think "normal people" just have to learn how to cope with him, and not give him a chance to get under their skin, where he REALLY likes to be, right Nifty ?

Can I ask why you want this info? its not readily available any where else? you see winners posted on most sites yes, but that only says J.Smith won $567 on Ghost Pirates as an example. They could have been betting 20c - $50 they don't even mention the bet x.

3Dice makes it a point, that they post the things they post, because they want to be transparent. That, as I understand it, is the purpose of the website.
By adding what I'm suggesting, they'll actually achieve this, and make it usefull, at least to me, and I believe many more.
They already have screenshots under each slot, with the winners "nicknames", so I don't see why it would be a problem in the "normal" list of winners.

The people who have been banned from this forum have only themselves to blame. Nobody forced them to behave disrespectfully and hurl personal insults at other members and, in particular, the staff and Bryan. To lay blame at my feet, or anyone else's for that matter, is like blaming Bryan for losing your money at a CM accredited casino.

We might not like someone else's opinion, but we have a responsibility to respond in a form that addresses the issues and doesn't launch personal attacks, simply because they are losing an argument. We are all adults, and responding to a challenge of ones opinion based on fact with accusations of shilling and being in bed with the casinos etc against other members and Bryan (such as the GM and gaydave cases) is totally unacceptable....not to mention pathetic and childish. The members mentioned, along with other banned members, were banned for THEIR conduct not anyone else's. You do the crime, you do the time. If you have an issue with that, take it up with Bryan.

I responded to your post with reasons why the information you want MAY not be supplied, and that it was unreasonable to dictate to someone how they answer your question and/or the restrict what they can discuss regardless of its relevance. In fact, IMO, it is rude and disrespectful.....and accredited casino reps SHOULD be shown respect and you DO have an obligation to be "extra respectful" as accreditation is hard-earned and carries with it certain expectations that cut BOTH ways. Again, if you have an issue with that, take it up with Bryan.

You may not like how I phrase my opinions, but they are based on the facts I have at hand and I NEVER use personally insulting language and/or terms as a tool to drive my point home. I'm really sorry that I come across cantankerous at times, as it isn't always deliberate. It's very easy to pick out specific posts where I'm calling out someone's BS (when I usually get grumpy), and ignore the numerous posts I make with jokes and mucking around, and assisting others and making newbies feel welcome.

The fact that you blame me for others being banned, and that you don't consider variance relevant or useful, explains a lot about your opinions about online casinos, so I've learned something useful from this thread even though I've been, once again, personally insulted for no other reason than making a valid point that someone else doesn't like.

Nowhere have I EVER said, that variance is unimportant, OR that I don't care about it. I said I know what that's about, and it's not the info I'm seeking.
