I've been playing a bit on my mobile using the mfortune platform, and have noticed a clear over-abundance for hil/lo gambles on 4 and 10 to produce 3 and Q. (I know I'm not imagining this; I've been watching it quite closely.)

Now, they state clearly that they're using a random number generator, but as they give the punter the Ace (counting it as either low or high in the better's favour), I wonder if the numbers are weighted so that every hi/lo gamble is a 50:50 bet -- that is, if you're gambling on 10, the JQK are weighted x3 so that there are 9 chances of it being low, and 9 chances of it being high.

Presumably that would be legal -- it makes the gamble the same as if they used "red or black" -- but it looks a bit misleading (since a bet of "low" on 10 looks like a 3:1 chance.)

Is this correct, or am I vocalising up the wrong arborial specimen? (Curious minds, and all that.)
