spinwin casino ...there having a laugh surely

i got an email offering a free chip from spinwin casino

it has some well known games king kong cubis etc etc

i was reading through there cashout terms and came across this...

Photographic ID: A copy of a current photographic ID is required for your first cashout request. This photographic ID can be in the form of a copy of a Passport, Drivers License or National ID card. Specifically it is the photograph page of the ID that we require for our verification checks. Please ensure that your name, photograph and signature are visible on the document.
Credit/Debit Cards: A copy of the front and back of the credit/debit card(s) used to fund your account. Please ensure that all details are clearly legible to enable prompt and accurate verification. For security purposes, please block the middle eight numbers on the front of the card copy and the 3 digit security code at the back of the card copy.
Proof of address: This may be submitted in the form of a utility bill or a credit card statement. It should be a recent document showing your full name and address as registered on your account with us. If you provide a credit card statement please ensure that you blank out the eight middle numbers of the credit card.
Notarized documentation: Your documents will need to be authenticated by an appropriately qualified Notary/Solicitor and signed and stamped as proof of legitimacy.

notarized doccuments...so if im correct you must make an appointment with ur solicitor and get docs stamped ..well theres £50 at least down drain to do that.....

find it amazing to ask for such a thing has anyone come across that before.....frankly find it well over the top and just a ploy to catch people out who dont read terms then cant be arsed to do it..i mean would it be worth it unless it was for a decent cashout as ur paying to have docs stamped

anyone know of any other casinos that have asked for this..i could understand for such a thing if there was an issue over identity but as standard casino practise seems well over the top to me

Yep, you'd most likely be sending them by email!

    Smile Spinwin Clarification

    Hi there Sattty and everyone,
I appreciate you pointing out this clause to players as I believe it is a very important clause.
As we state in our website “The cashout policy dictates that members may be required to verify their identity before a cash withdrawal can be made from their account. This validation process is to prevent potential online fraud”.
Usually within our process we request two out of the four verification elements, being that the notarized copy is usually only used to triage any fraudulent behavior which might have been detected in any of the previous elements. We do not use this clause not to pay players, as we believe our player’s compliments on fast payouts are usually the best form of advertising. We however enjoy creating a protective environment where our players feel safe and we use these types of terms to discourage less honest players from taking from true players.
We have paid out numerous players, one of them who actually won a $30.000 jackpot with a courtesy chip he had gotten from Spinwin Casino and he had no problems in receiving his cashout quickly and promptly.
If you come across any problem while cashing out please do feel free to contact me directly as I am always available to help.
Best wishes and Happy New Year,
    Monica

Thanks for clarifying that not every player will be expected to provide notorized copies. It's good to have it in your terms so players that are asked are not surprised, but maybe it could be phrased that Notorized Copies may be required? It would put me off to think I would be expected to provide them in every case, as this is not cheap in my country.

    Smile Hi everyone

I believe it was a 25 euros Free Chip. It was a promotion we ran through one of our affiliate's websites.
Each promotion usually has its own terms and conditions, in this particular case it did have a playthrough but no withdrawal limit It was back in August/September if I am not mistaken, would need to double check to be honest.

Regarding the terms I will make that suggestion so that the terms reflect that although we hold the right to request it, it is not something we commonly request unless there are doubts regarding the previously requested documentation.

Have a Happy New Year everyone
    Take care,
    Monica
