Indio Casino has resurfaced with Playtech software.

The casino is owned by South Africans, and was the subject of considerable strife (see Casinomeister News bulletins)

Indio Casino left the Futurebet software stable after some acrimonious disagreements. Players were left unpaid with one side claiming the other was responsible for them in terms of a business agreement.

In the end Jeff Hurley of Futurebet agreed to pay them out but under questionable circumstances. Their account balances were transferred to SportsbookUSA with a ten percent bonus....but were then subjected to a ten times WT.

By the way, this is a instance of instant roguedom. I had been waiting for them to resurface, but I'm a bit surprised that they reappeared under Playtech's wing.

...but then again, maybe it's not so surprising.

I am not taking any side on this, but it should be remembered that the Indio guys claimed an agreement with Hurley and Futurebet that the latter should pay off the players...so we have two stories each claiming something different here.

Ah...lest we forget the way Indio tried to weasle out of this by flagrant lies. I have it well documented and will make this available in the rogue section. Past issues of the newsletter delved into this as well.

Playtech should have known they were taking on unethical operators, but then again why should they care? Hmm?

I think it is six of one, and half a dozen of the other here - Futurebet hardly has a spotless record itself. Either way the players were screwed.
