    Robbed of 10,000 dollars!

Well here's another reason to legalize online gaming. Do it at home, much safer!

Looks like this guy won 10 grand at a B & M casino and was followed home and then robbed.

"A 62-year-old Chicago man was robbed of more than $10,000 he had won at a casino less than a half hour earlier, his son said Thursday."

Your thread title was a bit alarming!

I read this article. I thought this was gonna be an online casino complaint and I was gonna tell you you shouldn't deposit at Virtual.

When I was in Phoenix a lady got killed by someone she was at the casino with after she won. They caught the guy right away because they had all sorts of pictures of him.

Then just a year or so later another lady won $5K at the casino and this jerk followed her home and killed her in her own driveway.

Oh my goodness! Thats not very nice of them to do that to people who won money in casino. I am disgusted at their behaviour for hurting people who win. They are just very jealous and they have an evil thought for a revenge against them. They should be locked up for long time! If they previously been doing that they will also be blacklist from onsite casino for long time too. I felt sorry for those who have fallen victim of them.

When I lived in New Mexico, I left the casino, I was on the freeway. There was a van behind me that had left the casino. When I was on the freeway, I see something strange out the guys window. Then I see it is a gun, and he is shooting at me!! I duck down in my old buik I was driving at the time and floor it.
I get off at the first exit and call the police. Gave them the plate number.

Turns out this guy had kidnapped a winner in the casino . He was shooting at me because I drove a big white car, that he though was a police car and was shooting at me. Was crazy. He did get my oil tank but not me. I was scared to drive at night for a LONG time as a result of that.

When I moved to AZ I won about 5k, I had a security guy escort me to my car, and I had my husband waiting at home in the parking lot when I got there.

I worked in the casino industry one of the saddest stories and or warnings I ever remember was after the new parking garage was built a 68 year old women won 10 grand- got in car - got on highway- never made it home. They slit her throat took her money and she was found the next day. When you win at a land based casino- if it is night time especially ask the casino to hold money until morning and or have someone pick you up never leave the casino alone after winning big amounts. There are spotters in the casino that will call to there friends that this person just won this amount and they are alone.. When playing at a casino I will talk to people I don't know while I'm playing just to give the illusion I am with someone.

Casino will always give you the option of a check or you can request a wire to your bank. I also ask to be paid at the cage rather than at the machine. Most people don't know that's a option.

well here is another tip: from the master gambler DRJOHN .i was pittiling around the ole internet when low and behold i had a flash e-mail inviting me to one of these penny auctions.BEWARE, this is gambling of a different stroke.i won an auction and it ended up costing me more than i won,but thats not the clencher.if u do win anauction u better be willing to send the company ur life history.they require you to send in more documents than any casino online.including photos of ur social security ,creditcards both sides and drivers license.if u dont u will not get the item u won.AND they dont tell you all of this untill after u have paid them with a credit card.so i was left with a delemma>? do i succumb to their wishes and put my life history on the net and give them the info to ruin my credit or do i just bend over and take it like a man and lose the money that i had already paid them for the item i won.well i decided to just let them have the money i had already gave them about $6301 to be precise.so BE CAREFULL at hese sight s people

I don't know anything about penny auctions but honestly Doc., sounds fishy.

I'd stick to Ebay for auctions.
