- decent bet sizes
- not be bothered about taking part in promos
- a substantial length of time of this kind of play- a couple of years or so.
I would be surprised if you didn't make it in after this!
It really is by invitation. There is no automated scoring system that can be manipulated by the "right kind of play". If any player feels they should be considered, the site asks them to send an email. If they are turned down, they shouldn't pester, but wait quite a while before asking again, or not even bother at all.
It can take YEARS, not months, and depends on an overall assessment of your conduct and contribution, not just how big your wad is. The LAST thing 32Red want is to be tricked into granting Club Rouge status to a player that is purely trying to qualify for the VIP bonuses in order to milk them for all they are worth.
I believe I finally got in because I investigated the infamous "launch loop" bug with the software that progressively shut more and more players out of the casino, and reached a work around before Microgaming could come up with one, as well as identifying the main cause, which was the MUPDATE module and files. The solution was to find and delete two small files, and relaunch the software.
I was invited to a small dinner gathering in London, and one of the things I discussed with them was this very question of how players made it into Club Rouge. Shortly after, I got my own invite.
32Red DO actually bonus ban players if they think they are ONLY playing for the bonuses, and they make no distinction between whether they are winning or losing. I expect they look for players that only play when the bonuses come along, and withdraw as soon as WR are met. In theory, a Club Rouge player could be bonus banned, but have all the other benefits.
