    Proof of address

So I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or not.
For now I'm living at my parents place until I can find another room mate. (So far not very successful)
Yet I have a few casinos insisting that I actually send them a utility bill that's in my name. To prove where I live. I'm like what part of I live at home don't you people understand. I don't pay gas, electric, water, or even phone. For the phone I do use, it's prepaid. So there isn't a bill for that.
I have offered a bank statement, pay stub, random junk mail I get, or even just a regular bill I get once a month for a loan I got. Yet they seem to be persistent that a utility bill is all I need. Just seems a bit odd that they won't budge on this request. Any thoughts, ideas?

I've always used a bank statement without any problems at all, a lot of people don't have any bills coming in their name so this should be something the casino is used to.

Well eventually they took my offer of a medical bill, so luckily that got me by with both of the casinos I had an issue with. So all is resolved, hopefully this doesn't become a frequent issue. Otherwise this will become annoying and turn me off of online gaming again.

Cool that it's been sorted out. I don't have utility bills under my name and I'm always been able to verify address with mobile phone bill or bank statement, I don't know why they were so stubborn with you

I am assuming they made the request after you submitted a w/d request in which case they are trying to hinder you from having your docs approved. There is absolutely no reason why bank statements will not suffice as they are official correspondence. IMO it would be easier to falsify a medical bill (from a private practitioner) than a bank statement so the latter is usually good to go unless of course they want you to play back your funds.

Well I was just trying to get per-verified before playing any further after my first 2 deposits. So it wasn't for a withdrawal request, just apparently they wanted an ID, copy of the debit card I had used, bank statement, and one other piece of mail that verified my address (they preferred a utility bill). Mainly like most players I was just trying to get my ducks in a row, so they couldn't use the we needs your doc again excuse.
