    Question Captain Cooks Casino

I made my $100 deposit and received my $216 bonus.
    The WR's are 35 X d + b. Very steep but I thought I'd give them a shot using Autoplay. I had to wager $11,060.00 to meet the WR's.
I was broke by the time I reached, approximately, $2600. in WR's.
I was wagering $4.00 per hand...NOT steep at all!
Now....I know I'm going to get some flack here because many posters swear by this group.
So, don't break my chops...I'm just informing you what happened to me.
Maybe just a bad day to play.

It looks like you played 650 hands at $4/hand. Your expected loss was around $10. The standard deviation for that play is around $120. So losing $316 is a 2.5 SD loss.

Real crappy luck to be sure. Only 1 in 200 or so people should have this kind of loss. But definitely a realistic loss. Its those 5 and 6 SD losses that should throw up a caution flag.

Don't let this sour you on Microgaming. They are the software provider to a good 60 or 70 casinos, and the general feeling is that they offer a fair game. You may want to give Captain Cook's sister site Casino Kingdom a try.

Out of interest Lanidar, how long did it take to receive the bonus into yoru account and did it go into a "bonus account" rather than the normal one?

I received the bonus in about an hour and it went to my BONUS account.
I had to play the $216 first...then when that was gone I went to my REAL account and commenced losing that also.

    bpb...
I think I'll stay away from Casino Kingdom. They have the 100% bonus. The WR's are the same...35X D+B. Much too much wagering for my type of betting.
    But, thank you anyway.

I forgot that Casino Kingdom's bonus was half that of Captain Cooks. Also, you need to have > $50 in the bonus account at either casino to transfer to your real account.

Email them...they responded to me a very timely fashion.
Ask them where your $200 bonus is.
ALSO...VERY IMPORTANT...TELL THEM TO REMOVE THE $16 BONUS "BEFORE" YOU START TO PLAY!!!
You don't want to wager $16 X 35 ($560) the risk reward is DEFINTELY NOT there!

You have to email thecaptain to get your bonus! It is not one of those
    automatic bonus casinos.

True...you do have to email them for your $200 bonus.
    But, the $16 hits automatically.

MG Blackjack has been VERY streaky for me - I was lucky enough to actually make money at Captain Cook's, but it was a tough grind. I was literally switching between the three BJ games continually.

I have no doubt that MG offers a straight game, but I tend to stay away from them. Prefer the multi-hand option that Cyber offers (I know that MG offers multi-hand as well - but it's "European" style, meaning no hole card).
