Im sure this is only temporary. They probably were hit hard by bonus hunters lately and applied the emergency breaks. I am sure they are in the process of working out a new set of bonuses that will include more games than just slots.

I can understand them. If they are losing big money through their bonuses, they have to make some changes. They have every right to do so without it being viewed as some slap in the face of their customers. They are a business and have to make decisions that make business sense.

Why do you believe that the change in the bonus is temporary? Off hand I can't think of any casino that changed the bonus program...then after a period of time went back and DECREASED the WR's or INCREASED the bonus.

For example Fortune Lounge group changed to their present requirements 3 or 4 months ago? Have they changed back? Correct me if I am wrong, but the answer is a no! But then may be the larger groups can survive with their established customer base.

My opinion is that if a casino group cannot support a bit of bonus hunting, I said a bit meaning not too excessive (no one casino can survive if everyone on the planet starts bonus hunting on them), then they are not in a good financial shape anyway.

    Better bonuses for loyal players

I have found that Belle Rock casinos are moving to better bonus offers for loyal players. I play at RiverBelle and Lucky Nugget and often get email offers for bonues which have only 10x WR and exclude only the standard stuff plus JOB video poker games. I don't take bonuses very often but these are decent offers.

What do you mean by "standard stuff" ?
I NEVER got any email from them with 10 X WR's.
Can you please copy/paste one of these emails?

    Special BelleRock bonuses

Sorry Lanidar. I thought I might have kept one of the recent offers, but I have deleted them. I will post one when I get the next one. The most recent was a 100% match on a $150 deposit with a 10x WR on deposit and bonus.

As for the standard stuff, I believe it is baccarat, sic-bo, and roulette, and then they rule out only the JOB VP games. You can use Aces and Faces or Dueces wild or any other VP, just not the JOB versions. I do not recall if blackjack was in or out.

I have noticed more and more casinos going to slots-only WR - surely a major change against the odds for the player!. I will not take these bonuses.
