    Question for Canadian Residents

We know what the environment and restrictions are for the American players. Access denied to many casinos that our European and Asian counterparts can play at, difficulties in getting paid or limited deposit methods.

What is it like for those of you in Canada? Is there much of a difference?

Just wondering - I have an opportunity with a customer in Canada that may require me to split my time between the US (Detroit) and Windsor.

    TIA,

    Diane

Well, Rival doesn't want us. There are some sites that only serve the UK market.

AFAIK, credit cards work well, my prepaid always does. There are Mastercard Gift cards that permit gambling transactions. Moneybookers permits us to use our accounts for gambling. Gambling winnings are NOT taxable in Canada, my bank knows what those wires are for. If I'm ever lucky enough to have a large enough wire that it's reported, fine. I can show what it's for.

There's a deposit option Instadebit that allows players instant access to their bank accounts and very fast withdrawals straight back to their banks with low fees.

People talk quite openly about playing online, although that's largely poker.

I think most gambling sites require that you be a resident of a country to register an account, not just present in it.

Pretty much the above, except the moneybookers part a bit, most banks will not let you use their credit cards for gambling and that's including going through moneybookers.

If you are going to have a canadian bank account the way to go is using instadebit or E check.

As for citizenship, I really don't know how online casino's handle that, but other then that no problems for us up here.

+ Can buy Ukash at Esso in Ontario that can be used to deposit at many places.
Intradebit is the easiest with no fee but they ask your social insurance number.
    Who took my money ??
