I have done so so with the new system, but my main beef with it would be the massive $50 minimum. Pretty much forces you to play $50 or $100 BJ or Baccarat hands at the end to get enough to transfer.

I had thought that Captain Cooks had a reasonable bonus account system but I just found a new rule that I did not know before. At Captain Cooks you must first wager 10x or 35x for certian games in your bonus account before you can transfer the funds to your real account, fair enough. And you also have to wager 10x or 35x the deposit you made in your real account, fair enough. However, after you have wagered the bonus account 10x or 35x and have transfer the funds to the real account, you have to wager the funds you just transfered 10x or 35x again in your real account. As an example, you deposit $100 and get a $200 bonus. So you play your $200 35x playing black jack and end up with a balance of $500. Then when you transfer the $500 to your real account you have to wager the $500 10x or 35x as well as 10x or 35x the $100 deposit. in this example, if playing black jack, you have to wager a total of $28,000. If you are lucky you will not win too much in your bonus account because if you hit that lucky slut machine and win a big jack pot, good luck not losing it after they make you play through it again in your real account. I think I will stay away from Captain Crooks and any other casino with a bouns account.

I wouldn't be too hard on Captain Cooks - yes, there's now a huge wagering requirement, but that's why God created autoplayThere's probably still a reasonable chance of making a profit.
In the past I think they tried to be quite clever, giving those 60 for 20 bonuses separately and having a 50 credit minimum to transfer to the real account (so most players probably transferred nothing). It had the slight flaw that if you took all the bonuses before playing you were getting a £300 bonus for a £100 deposit and needed to be very unlucky not to make well over £200 profit. Those were the days...
Aztec Riches and co. were simply crooks & it's hard to believe they've changed overnight (in any case, the wr is very high for a sticky bonus). It's also hard to trust a casino group which won't hire someone capable of writing clear and correct English for their T&Cs...

I also want to indicate that this thread was initiated while I was on vacation - thus my non-responsiveness. I also want to point out that when these casinos had implemented this bonus plan - it was not developed as thoroughly as Captain Cooks, but as Casino Action has indicated - now it is. I don't think it's problematic anymore.

From Captain Crooks terms, "For all Non-VIP players: Any transfers from your Bonus Account to your Real Account are also subject to the below wagering requirements."Originally Posted by sw2003
So unless you are a VIP you will have to wager the money transfered from the bonus account to the real account 10x or 35x

I have played a great deal at Casino Action. The main reason for the WR in the bonus account is the promotions such as "Wheel of Cash", which will give random amounts as you play, awards of £500 will often happen to at least one player each day, and I have seen £1000 awarded (Will be $ if playing in $). They also have a monthly Blackjack tournament with a top prize of £1200 (goes in bonus account though). Entry is 'bought' by placing at least one wager (any amount) on 5 separate days at the casino. If you wager in the bonus account, and have, say, £100 of £200 left, wait for something like a £15 Wheel of cash. When this is awarded the bonus account balance will be £115, and the wager requirement will be £150; BUT the 'bonus chip balance' will reset down to £115 from the £200 - it will not rise to £215. This gives considerable 'leverage' if the bonus account is played in this manner, so the high WR do not seem so bad after all. I have hit 2 Royal Flushes in the bonus account, and all this can be transferred once WR are met, and can even be withdrawn immediately providing any real account WR have also been met. Rising to the top Platinum level is reasonably easy, and is the norm for a regular player, rather than a teaser that never gets offered. In my experience, you will have reached Platinum before total deposits have exceded £5000 to £6000 - even if you have won and withdrawn more. VIP upgrades are offered as you play, and will be delivered via player E-mail & in your inbox.
Personally, I see no reason for them NOT to be in the reputable section now that they have a clear definition of what is required in the bonus account.
Terms for wagering have been changed though. It is now 30x except slots & keno which is still 10x, Vegas Strip Blackjack also no longer counts, joining Craps and Bacarrat in the excluded list. Strangely, roulette IS allowed - rather unusual for online casinos. Autoplay is permitted for WR, and the allowed Blackjack games are almost as good as Vegas Strip.
I have added a guide to this group on a website I run for UK "Fruit machine" players. This is because such players may be interested in online casinos as out "Fruit Machines" have a house edge of up to 30% !!!!!!
There is an area of this forum dedicated to 'advertising', so I will post details there.
