    Tht Maltese Gaming Authority

For too long now we have had to put up with corrupt gambling organisations, and corrupt gaming authorities, non are worse than the Maltese gaming authority, who are totally inept and corrupt, why do so many companies hold there licence there, what these companies are getting away with is beyond belief, in any other form of business that is regulated this is classed as theft, but these companies no they are safe because of the state of play with the governing body, do we just sit here and let them get away with it or do we fight back, for the record i have some serious issues with Betfair and there live dealer Blackjack, it is fixed, i know it they know it, and just about every person that has played there knows it, i have had enough and they are not going to get away with it, but that leads to the second problem they are licensed by a corrupt organisation. Betfair have got away with enough over the last few years, it is about time we, there customers or should i say victims started fighting back.

Yes, Malta is a big joke. Altough that applies to most of the other licensing jurisdictions too.

They at least used to have licensees with rigged software (Medialive), probably still have.
And every operation that went bust that I know of have left the players unpaid even if their regulations states that player money should be safe.

The country is and have always been crooked IMO so what do you expect of their gambling regulation?

You cannot beat the system. Best thing to do is to embrace it.

Just make sure you are earning while using it. We just have to accept that sometimes, let fate do its work.

This is a view shared by many operators, but very few players. Their license is cheap, and they will take the casino's side in most disputes. Even where the players' side is taken, the judgement is not enforced. Many players are still owed money from a criminally operated casino and poker network that "did a runner" with player balances that SHOULD have been ringfenced from company assets, but when the company folded, these player balances had vanished. The LGA accept that this was criminal, and have investigated and brought charges, but there is no sign of players being reimbursed. Had the LGA been doing their job, they would have seen this coming, and could have acted sooner to protect players' interests, such as suspending the license and freezing the company's assets before the money could disappear.
