    Prestige Casino?

My brother is talking to me here about a casino he's joined recently; "Prestige Casino".

He recently 'won' with one of those "£750 to spend in 60 mins and keep your winnings" promotions (he finished 'up' £650). He now has a 10x WR with his winning before they are withdrawable; AFTER he has provided docs.
He has also been offered a 500% deposit match bonus by them and mentioned it to me.

Now I don't know about you but these kind of promotions ring all sorts of alarm bells with me. Huge deposit bonuses normally mean only one thing

Perhaps I'm wrong though, so could you offer some advice on this casino so I can relay it to my brother?

    Thankies

It says WHG (International) Limited at the bottom of their webpage, if you mean http://www.prestigecasino.com/

My security software (Trend Micro Titanium) blocked that site you linked me to, labeling it "Dangerous".

I am linking you to a "prestige casino". I dont know if its the one your brother is playing at. Its a perfectly safe link as far as I can tell, your security software is giving a false positive.

    I don't use bonuses myself, but I don't agree with the 500% match offer (if it's correct). Though the 60 mins free play offer seems a fair deal compared to say similar offers from Microgaming casinos like PlatinumPlay for instance has a 30x WR in comparison with the 10x of Prestige casino (Playtech) ;

"PlatinumPlay 1500 Free Bets - No deposit required - Keep your winnings

The Platinum Play 1500 Free Bets offer is applicable to first time Real players at Platinum Play Online Casino.
On registration of a Real account, players will be eligible to log in to a 1500 Free Bets account which will be allocated with £1500 free credits.
In order to transfer any winnings you need to play through the initial £1500 credits at least once.
Provided that the £1500 has been played through at least once in full, any balance over and above the original £1500 will be considered winnings up to a maximum of £100.
The initial £1500 cannot be transferred from the Free Play account.
A minimum deposit of £20 must be made in the player's Real account before winnings from the €1500 Free Bets account can be transferred to the Bonus balance of your real account.

All winnings transferred to a Real account will be subject to standard play-through requirements (30x WR)."

In other words it's free play bonus money to try and win some free bonus money.

It is definitely the one my brother is currently playing at. I'll let him know that Prestige is safe
Yeah my security is really rather strict; it will often attempt to block updates from (100% trustworthy) MG casinos, labeling them 'suspicious' (although I can override these at the time).
I just stick with it though because I've never had any viruses, Trojans, or anything else malicious since I started using it. It kinda works a little too well...

Just treble check that WHG International is William Hill before you do. I am sure it is but have to make ABSOLUTELY sure! I dont want your brother getting into a bad casino thats my fault tho you see lol. I am pretty much 99.8% sure its trustworthy tho.

And yeah, too strict is way better than too lax, you are taking the sensible option there.

They used to be a dodgy casino, but they were one of a bunch bought up by William Hill awhile back. As far as the bonuses go, check WR before taking one - I seem to recall reading that it was like 90X WR or something ridiculous like that, although maybe it's changed by now.

In general Prestige is fine. WHG are credible - just a bit slow on reverse/cashout stuff. Lots of bonuses - makes cashing out harder but you can opt out. A typical Israeli-operated Playtech really but perfectly safe to play. I tested them, cashed out, got ID'ed, all that stuff and went without a hitch. If you play with bonuses and have some self-control (48hr reverse) then it's as good as any. If you don't play with bonuses then there are better options.

    Thanks chayton and Simmo!

My brother does indeed play with bonuses. He's not playing to win (no, seriously), he would happily deposit £50, get a match bonus and sit low-rolling for weeks.
I just wondered/worried if Prestige might be rip-off merchants or something as they aren't accredited
