GNUF Cashout pending extended to 48 hours - Looks like everyone is doing it...sad

I have just been told that GNUF cashout pending is now 48 hours, not 8 hours.
Looks like every casino is extending the cashout pending much longer.
And stop flushing withdraw...

Feel bad about it. Do casinos realize they will lost customers?

Any reason for that?

This is palace groups policy unfortunately, I stopped playing here once they took it over.

Both Gnuf and Betway where taken over by the Palace group back in late April early March if I recall correctly.

No reason other than they hope we reverse and lose the lot. No stats in hand but obviously the longer the pending period the more likely the impatient gambler is likely to reverse and play especially if he is short on funds or has few deposit options.

Aslong as the whole industry is doing likewise they wont lose cusomers to each other.

With your betting levels.. I think you should.

They do flush, but only for VIPs.

I'm still not sure if they are really part of the Palace Group or if they just happen to use the same promotioncompany.
Same promo's, same percentages, same time that they are running.
But deposits/withdrawls still show as Betway/GNUF in my Neteller, not Palace Group.

Prime for example does show as Palace Group.

I hate long reverse times and won't hang around at any casino that has them. But to play devil's advocate, the high costs imposed by the processing companies on both deposits and withdrawals (I think in the range 3-10%) and the current economic climate also have a bearing on the decision. A casino can only survive if it business is viable and right now cost cutting is the order of the day for a lot of places. Best guess is that's largely why we are seeing more and more casinos changing hands.

Striking the right balance is what is required. I can understand that for new players or low rollers those processing costs can make them non-viable. But for VIP's and well-known players there needs to be some slack.

My bet is that when the US regulates and competition increases among the payment processors trying to grab market share, costs will come down and we will see some more slack. Until then...

On the bright side there are still some very good casinos with no or low reverse times

GNUF is not the old GNUF, and support from palace group, feeling cold.
I close my account at GNUF after the withdraw.
