    Forced Bet Sizes

Played medal tally (i think that was the name) at highnoon today for the first time and noticed you have to bet 1.00...no more....no less... I found this interesting in that you couldn't increase the bet amount. I've seen games that require you to start with a high bet amount say 1.25 but allowed you to increase the amount.

Part of me was actually happy and I'm not sure if it's a false sense of security. Knowing that every player had to use the same bet amount, gave me an odd sense of delight. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying all games should be like this.

I was curious to know how others felt. I know some have trigger jackpots with .20 bets but it's easy to slip into the mindset that "the guy who will hit will probably bet larger than me." Yes I know that line of thinking isn't true but for some reason playing a game that restricted the bet size to a single amount was kind of cool.

RJ size was at 16K and we hit 3 features in the span of something like 5 -10 minutes and they actually all paid decent amounts . Which leads me to another question. Do you feel the bigger the jackpot has grown the more chances for decent hits/features, etc?

I actually experienced the reverse. The bigger the jackpot, my rtp actually shrinks. Whenever the rj reaches 10k or above, I usually perform poorly.

I to like the games that have a fixed bet size, but only the ones with the dollar fixed bet, LOL. My favorite is Happiness of the Golden Ox, sometimes it pays pretty well sometimes it doesn't, for some reason I just love that game. I can't tell you why, just love that game.

RTG has a number of games with fixed bet sizes. I'm particularly fond of Three Stooges @$1.25 if I'm up enough or took a big enough bonus to play it. I think Rudolf's Revenge is a fixed bet of $2. The Network pregressive Jackpot Pinatas is $5 fixed bet I think, and Shopping Spree II is a fixed bet of $2.25.

Be careful to check the rules wherever you play, especially if you are playing with a bonus. Some specifically exclude Network Progressives from bonus play.

I haven't played this game in awhile, but if I am not mistaken, the progressive in this game is not a random jackpot. You get it by getting a certain number of medals within the feature (I think it is 50+?).

And I am of the mindset that the bigger the jackpot is, the better chance I have of getting decent hits...but only because I reason that more people are putting money in.

You're correct, my mistake. You get it by getting 50 medals in the feature. Most I got was 9
