On the other side, when I have been on a super hot streak, my ego will convince me that I can win any bet, anywhere. That thinking has wiped out large portions of some pretty good wins in the past.
Wierd, how come I am the exact opposite.
When I won, I wanted to cash out and stop NOW. Even if it's $5-$10. The more I won, the more I want to stop. The only thing that stopped me from leaving is the wager requirement. It's common I'll just withdraw $5-$10 winning and my wife would laugh at me for that.
When I lost, I want to stop the bleeding NOW. It just pain me to see my bankroll going downhill nonstop. Again, the only thing that keep me going is the wager requirement. The more I loose, the more I want to stop. When I finally reached the WR, I'd grab what's left and cashin in nano-second. Surely I was pissed but at least I won't loose anymore.
When I go to land based casino, I would spare $20 per day on fully paid decus or Bonus poker. Again, I'd walk away with 10 more bucks or go bust trying. Maybe I am not a good gambler after all.
By the way, after a bad loosing streak I always want to go to Mac Donalds. Why? because working there at least I'll get a fixed $7 hourly rate.

IMO, there is a better than 50/50 chance you were cheated. Knowing that, you can take appropriate steps to get your money back.

LOL~ My kids love MC's play place and it's a special reward for them to go. (And I hate the food there)

hhfreebie, you are a very smart and self-control gambler. Casino will not survive if all the customers are like you. I think bankroll management is very important unless you really don't care the money. To some gamblers, they like to spend it and they can afford it. To them, it's entertainment. There is nothing wrong. The problem is people who can't afford it. I sincerely hope it will not happen to us.

We are small roller who try to have fun and still under control. What really concern and worry me is "Crazy Gambling mind", I called, take over your mind. It happened to me when I started online gambling last year. However, I am like you. I CANNOT look at my bankroll going down and still play. I learned a lot over the past year and was very lucky to recover it now.

I firmly believe self-control is the key and there is no excause or other's fault. Good luck to you all.

I would say you are a very good conservative gambler. You're limiting your risk and taking profits when you've got them. You won't go broke with that strategy.
