It is these browser based platforms that seem to be the way some operators are mixing games from different providers.
The Intertops case was down to MGS leaning on them because they had broken an agreement in their contract by DIRECTLY running MGS with RTG. The solution was to separate the two softwares into sister companies. This was done by opening a new MGS casino at "arms length" (Royal Joker) through a subsidiary company, whilst complying with their agreement with MGS and closing the original MGS casino that had been "paired" with the RTG one. Royal Joker was then progressively transferred to Jackpot Factory, and in the end closed and players transferred to All Slots, or All Slots USA.
Part of the agreement with MGS also relates to what can be said about it "on the record", such as posting on a forum. It is not in 32Red's interest to "piss off Microgaming" by saying too much, and having Microgaming leaning on them.
Answers are more likely to come from "insiders" who once worked for a Microgaming casino, but who now work for a competitor.
If Microgaming were to float on the stock exchange, they would need to be more open about such things, as 32Red have to be if you are prepared to wade through the annual report and accounts.
RTG are not known for their openness and transparency either, and are tucked away in Costa Rica.
