A question about bonuses and WR

    Hello,
I have a quick question about bonuses, multiple deposits and bonuses.

If player deposits, let's say $100, receives $150 bonus, plays a little (wagers part of the bonus given) and then makes another deposit of $200 (WR for the bonus haven't met) - and then loses $250 (initial deposit + bonus) - should they still complete WR with $200 (2nd deposit)?

    Thanks for replies!

    Regards,
    SM.

Personally I would remove the bonus and let them play with the $200 they put in. You haven't lost the bonus, you made $100...why be difficult and hold them to T&C's of a bonus they have already lost? Remove the wagering!

Technically yes. The 2. deposit will in most casinos probably have the WR attached (this happens automatically). And the WR from his 1. deposit must be completed before the player can withdraw his deposit / winnings (from second deposit).

But, a good casino would have removed it when the player has lost his first dep+bonus.

(Given him "goodwill" since he probably was in "good faith" when he did the new deposit)

Player could be very close to losing deposit+bonus, but thanks to additional $200 deposit could bet more and win more, and recover from losses.

For example, he has $210 left ($10 from 1st deposit + $200 as 2nd deposit) and bets it all in one spin, and wins $420, increasing his balance. Should we still remove WR?

I would not have removed WR in this scenario. He needs to loose his first deposit + bonus, and then I would have removed WR.

So, his balance should be equal or less than $200 before the next spin, right?

Yeah, something like that. But if the player clearly has raised his bets after the 2. deposit, and used a mix of 1.dep/bonus and 2.dep then I would not have removed the WR.

If he deposited with the intention to bet higher before WR was completed, then just keep the WR there. His own fault

10 pound plus bonus = not met wagering if the guy had zero balance then made a deposit little you can do , but as your saying theyve made another deposit on top of unplayed funds ( bonus funds ) then the wagers carry on until time he reaches wagering requirements or busts out )

I don't take many bonuses but I think this is a bad example about a bonus. Few people do not know about the play through on a bonus. To add more of their cash when they still have bonus requirements to fulfill seems dumb to me. And, if I was dumb enough to add my funds to a balance with bonus still attached, I deserve to still have to make the rest of the bonus demands before I can withdraw any funds.

There are so many different stories about bonus, bonus abuse, bonus and how they work. It seems to me that bonuses should be quite straight forward with their rules. But, from all the problems we read about them here, I guess they are not so easy to decipher.

Or what would be easier would be easier is if you went to the cashier and it had a message that said "You still have playthrough of XXX" on the bonus you took etc etc - please complete this before making a deposit.
