I'm guilty of a little willy nilly joining casinos and playing freechips when I first started. Now I routinely ask if I have an account, so many have similar names.

Groups like Cassava have pretty extensive holdings, and strict policies about bonuses across the whole group. Honestly, in your shoes, I'd steer clear of them, unless you get from management, not just chat support, that you are good to go.

I think that if you have an all clear IN WRITING from any of the casinos accredited here, you should feel confident to play. If, like me, you always used your true name and birthdate, they should be able to check records.

Heck, reading CM can make anyone paranoid. It's why I started asking. And saving chat transcripts.

Once, I had an account at a long gone casino that had been bought out by a group, and no longer carried the same name.

And just because you use your true details while signing up, doesn't seem like that will flag "multiple accounts" for too many casinos. I'd think that if the same name appears, it might at least warrant an inquiry if you are the same person as the previous account. Seems to be withdrawals that trigger the checks.

If you are the least suspicious anywhere you play is the least bit dodgy, or looks to trap players, I'd take my deposit dollars elsewhere.

Rather than rely on live chat, I'd communicate with support by email.

One of the real pluses of being a CM member, we have access to reps from a wide variety of casinos, not just accredited ones. You can always PM them to look into your issue, or in your case, clarifying your position.

You can find a list under the I-Gaming Reps tab.

Bryan here at Casinomesiter does all he can to help us thru the rough spots; I’m just wondering when we as players will do something for ourselves to help clarify and eliminate those bumps for ourselves.

Yes and I understand about the policy that is my point...those policies we get from the casinos are unclear in regards to so many things. And worse they can change them on the fly. So yes it is about policy. I simply believe that it is unacceptable and unethical business practice to not be specific on what constitutes fraud as it pertains to multiple accounts. I believe it should be our Legal Name, Birth and documented identification, not a user name they created as we register a new player account. I also believe that the casino should take full responsibility by finding duplicate names and birthdates for players registered with them instead of using user names in their data base query. Think about it if you go to an online casino and being the registration process; if the email address you enter is in their system. You get a little message that it is in use “so pick another" or if I pick a user name like "Username” you again will get a message "name already exists" OMG?? But when I put in my true legal name along with my date of birth "NOTHING"??? No little message and were good to good!

Now doesn’t that strike you as at least a little suspicious...perhaps it is the casinos way of not caring that you have other accounts? Is it just possible that casinos appreciate our screw-up’s and do nothing to implement safeguard to and for the players as it is in fact financially advantages to the casino in the end. They certainly don’t lack for placement of rigid safeguards to protect their own interest.

This is my point we as players immediately quote casino policy and their terms and conditions. Right, wrong or indifferent, like little robots. "it’s a no brainer" "it says it right there? I Submit that perhaps what "it says" is prejudice and needs to be redefined. Metaphorically speaking shouldn’t we concentrate on buying life insurance before were dead, because death is most certain.
And I do apologize; I honestly didn’t mean to sound as if I was giving you attitude
Like ksech said, it is the player's responsbility at the end of the day to ensure they only have one account at each casino.

If it's a genuine accident, good operators will fix it up and you'll be good to go. If it's not, then expect to have winnings removed and accounts closed....and rightly so.

I don't see what your issue is about only having one account? It seems to be fine with the rest of us. In over 10 years I've never had a problem with multiple accounts, and AFAIK most regular members of CM haven't either. It's normally fraudsters and players trying to scam the casinos by claiming multiple signup bonuses etc - and I thought you would have been in favor of that, given that fraud costs the honest players in the end through higher WR on bonuses and tougher rules.

As I said before, this is probably the first time I've ever read a post like yours without it turning out to be someone who had just had their winnings confiscated, so you'll need to excuse me for being suspicious.

You know, you don't HAVE to accept a casinos' T&Cs......just don't play there. If you don't like the "one account per person" rule, then I suggest you should stop gambling online as it's not going to change - EVER. The minute it does, the scammers will have a field day.

If you aren't sure whether you already have an account, ASK SUPPORT and they will tell you. It only takes a minute in most cases, and it could save you some heartache.

I really don't see why you're making such a song and dance about a very reasonable and logical condition of play.

If you are not sure if you multiple accounts you need to get written confirmation from every casino that you only have one account befroe you play.

As Bryan says it's up to you to read and understand the terms and conditions before you play.

And if you break such an important one as this then don't expect to get paid.
