    On The Casinos Blacklist!

Hello Iam hoping someone, anyone here will help me!

Well over a year ago, I was playing at a casino not sure may have been one of the palace groups, had joined a lot of different ones,I was going through really bad patch in my life and was hooked on casinos, any casino and decided i wanted to self exclude myself from the casinos for my own sake, and get out the destructive routine of playing till i won or was flat broke.

I set up the self exclusion with their support and that was that.Couldnt play at any microgaming casinos or so I thought at the time, after a long time not playing,I sorted myself out and back with a better outlook and limits of deposits,i started playing back at 32red + ladbrokes casinos and that was fine and has been for a long time.

Now i like the look of GOWILD casino as have heard good things on this site,so decided to give it a try. But in no way can I deposit there.I tried to play at platinum play also and couldnt deposit also. So out of interest have tried a few casinos and the same wont accept a deposit.

So it seems Iam blacklisted at the majority of microgaming casinos am just wondering if its the ones that use proccyber as there banking system?,as can obviously deposit at 32red and ladbrokes.

I dunno who to contact to remove this self exclusion, need help?

If you asked for a "life" exclusion, or told them that you were having problems controlling your gambling, you are going to find it near impossible getting off the exclusion list.

As with alcohol addiction, once "cured", you cannot just take a break and start drinking again, or you will soon end up back where you started.

The signs are already there. After being satisfied with the couple of casinos that allowed you back playing with controls in place, you are now trying to increase your portfolio of available casinos, and thus frustrate the controls placed on your total deposits. This could easily lead you back to where you started before you even realise it.

Were you to suffer another "bad patch" in life, you could again seek solace in online casinos, and lose control. This blacklist is there to PROTECT you, not to punish you.

You have 32Red and Ladbrokes, so should leave it at that for now. You still have controlled access to gambling, yet the protection from "going on tilt" imposed by this pair being able to limit your total deposits.

You may even find that this problem has already crept back up on you, and this thread and it's replies could be your "wake-up call".

Might be better to stay away

If you think you have been addicted it might be best if you stay away from playing or gambling for the rest of your life. You say that you were going through a very rough time in your life when you did it excessively? Because if ‘that’ was the reason ‘why’ you played you might not have been ‘really’ addicted at all as we all have different ways to keep our thoughts away from our problems. Some people work more while others drink or take drugs or invest time in doing sports etc…
However, that is up to you to analyze your reasons for gambling on decide what you want to do. I think the only way to be able to get back into the casinos would be to move and to change your bank details.

Side note: But if excessive gambling is your personal way to overcome stress or difficulties in your life you should ‘definitely’ stay away from it, or limit the visits to casinos to times when you balanced, relaxed and happy...

Thanks but hold on Its not as bad as it sounds, the bad patch i had cant happen again lets just say its impossible.I wasnt losing £1000's either nor was affecting my life in a really bad way.At the time I just wanted to break up the routine of sitting at home on a casino just to pass the time and as i found out if u play too much you end up losing in the end,and it was only microgaming casinos was addicted to these, mostly as are the best to play. Tomb raider 2 was the biggest culprit of my problems lost alot of money chasing that last reel to lo light up for the sword bonus,it became addictive!

As for my portfolio Iam registered at dash,ladbrokes,32red,intercasino,jackpot party, omni, betfred, victorchandler, paddy power,bluesquare,bet365,williamhill,virgin and few more and could have or could play anytime i want ,but hardly did or do.I have a particular favourite then i play at that, sometimes i like a change and like everyone else I try elsewhere.

I just wanted to try Go wild i like there bonus offers and setup so thus just wanna get that self exclusion removed it is in no way needed.

I have no deposit limits, when i said limits of deposits, i meant my own limits in my head,i get to a losing limit,i stop and then thats me for the week!

"addicted" and "chasing" are 2 words that concern me with that.

Its like I can thankfully limit myself and dont have a problem, however depending on the game I may spend more than I wanted to (i.e I may have £50 budget for a casino, Then I plan to spend £10 of it on 1 slot, its badly designed and isnt fun so I stop there at £10 but then I go on a slot which is awesomely designed, has great bonuses, features, is fun and I plan to spend £10 on it but end up spending £20). "Chasing" for features is problematic because in reality the feature is as likely to come along after 100 spins as it would after 5. It sounds like it was the case of "dang this features gonna happen any spin now, Im gonna go over budget and deposit another £20 to hit it".

I think you will have a hard time getting your self imposed ban lifted when you told them yourself that you had a gambling problem. I don't know if it is a processor ban or what it is, but if you manage to deposit with 32 Red and Ladbrokes you are playing at the two best Microgaming casinos out there. The grass isn't always greener at the other side of the fence.

Thanks for the concerns but this was along time ago i done this and have been able to play on casinos and gamble when i wanted ever since.

It was only a blip when i first got introduced to online casinos, I was winning big in my first plays at slots. The only time i gambled before then was pub fruities and was nieve to think like a pub fruitie the more money i was putting in I was sure to get a big payout!

I learned my lesson very quickly and decided to keep a lid on it by having a self exclusion for a period of time of my own choice and defo didnt ask for a life one.

But the point of me starting the thread, I was to know who Iam blacklisted with or who do i contact to get this removed.I just wanted to be fully honest of why i got in this position in the first place and thats why i gave the full story.

If you only asked for a set period, the ban should be lifted after this period is up. The problem would be the reasons you gave at the time, and if you mentioned anything about being "addicted", and it causing "problems" for your everyday life, it is possible that despite asking for a set period, you have ended up with a life ban.

It would seem that 32Red and Ladbrokes are happy for you to play now that the period you have chosen is up.

When it comes to other casinos, the only thing is to ask them whether the limited period self exclusion you set up has cleared as far as they are concerned.

Just ignoring this, and hoping they just won't notice, will mean that your first WITHDRAWAL will be when they find out, and under the standards to protect problem gamblers, you will only get back your deposits, even if you hit Mega Moolah for a lottery size payout!

You could also contact 32Red through the forum (Pat Harrison would be best as Operations Director), and ask him whether there is a blacklisting still present within Microgaming because of your self imposed period of exclusion.

If you DO get the all clear to play at all MGS casinos, BE CAREFUL, and stay aware of any sign that you are being drawn in too deeply again, and losing your common sense.

Despite what you see in casinos' own advertising, there is no such thing as a slot (or any other game) being "ready to drop" just because it has taken in loads of money. Fruit machines work this way only because they are not random games, but are programmed to pay out a set percentage of the take over a set number of spins.

Thanks but i dont think this blacklist is a microgaming thing, as have always been able to deposit and withdraw at ladbrokes and probably 32red ever since i asked for self exclusion.

I think its the payments processor I may be blacklisted with at the rest of the casinos as can log into any microgaming casino i want just cant deposit in any way,and support cant tell me why. I just dunno how you contact the payments processor!

Maybe I will just give up seems alot of hassle when 32red has biggest rtp anyway.
