    Omni cashout 4days not 24hr

    Hello everybody!

I just found that Omni casino prosess the withdraw after 4 days, so the (whitin 24hours) is not correct, i emailed the support and they sent me this :

"Your withdrawal request will be in pending status for four (4) business days
while being reviewed by the relevant department."

This is what most Playtech casinos do. Maybe they only take this long for the first withdrawal, so what really matters is the timescale once they have verified your documents, which can be measured on the second withdrawal.

The reply is a little worrying though, since they make it clear the 4 days is the pending time before they even consider releasing it, rather than an ass covering period of time to take account of varying delays with payments once released going through their processor, and arriving as a credit in the player's withdrawal method.

Many casinos have been increasing the pending time recently, and some that used to pay within 24 hours now say 48 hours pending, even 72 in a few cases.

When i opened acount at Omni i first sent all my doc (passport and a bill) so i will be able to cashout fast, this is so obv that they want people to play their winnings.

i sent another email and got this answer:

"We would like to inform you that for withdrawals, we are forced to follow
certain procedures which take the processing a while longer.

In addition, we want to protect our players’ interests by means of verifying
that all withdrawal requests are legitimate and that we are sending the funds
    to the right person.

As for you other concern, we are continuously updating the details in our
casino website for our players. In addition, we will also update our casino
    details with our affiliate sites.

During this time you can cancel your withdrawal request and return these funds
    to your casino account."

after this i will never play at this casino again...

At Omni you can ask your account to be frozen until the withdrawal is paid.
At least they did that a while back.
    Just ask support.
If you feel it's likely that you'll reverse it because of the long pending period.

Why Bet365 can pay in few hours, including weekends?

Centrebet (Playtech) also pays within a few hours. There is really no good reasons why a casino would have a 4 days pending time (business days). The explanation from Omni (above) is just silly.

Sad but true. I am sure it used to be less but I clarified this with them today:

The four (4) business days pending period is standard to all withdrawal
requests, this is whether we have player’s documents or not. The pending
period may lengthen depending on player's response to the documentation
request, if there is a problem on the withdrawal method chosen, there is a
technical issue on our end, etc.
A real shame as they seemed to be really heading in the right direction over the past year or two. Ah well. Rules me out.

You seem to have confirmation that Omni have now changed to a 4 business day pending period, and they have attempted to justify this as being for YOUR protection. They also make it clear that they are going to update their marketing partners who are still quoting a 24 hour cashout period.

They are lying of course, since EVERY casino want to ensure that withdrawals are paid to the correct person, yet other than for a first withdrawal, they do NOT take 4 days to verify that everything is in order.

It is like the banks lied about needing 3 days to clear a payment made over the internet, the same time as it takes to process a paper cheque. They were lying, and the regulator (for once) didn't buy it, and banks are now being told to speed up the process. The banks did NOT need the time in the first place, but money allocated to such payments was placed on moneymarket overnight accounts to grant the banks 3 days of the interest that really belongs to the owner of the money, and to help boost their liquidity.

The casino's processor may also be gaining an extra 4 days interest on monies being processed for players, as well as saving them money by being able to hold up processing to any one destination so as to benefit from economies of scale when they do eventually process the funds in a "batch".

Only if they lose quite a few players because of this policy will they change their minds, so it is important that the correct information is reflected in their marketing, so they should inform Bryan of this so that the accredited list remains as accurate as possible.

Send Bryan a PM detailing your gripe, and the explanation you received about a 4 day pending period now being policy for ALL withdrawals, not just first withdrawals.

Agree, a real shame. If a player request a withdrawal on a Friday afternoon/night, then Omni won`t process the withdrawal before Thursday (4 business days + Sat/Sun)...That is 6 days!

It is absolutely unacceptable for a casino to have a 4 days pending time in my opinion. If this is the way Omni wants to do business, then I will recommend players to choose another Playtech casino from the "accredited list".

Maybe the rep will give some feedback here?
