They are not particularly "evil", but they fail some of the standards for accreditation. Further, they have said that they have no interest in supplying a player rep at CM, nor of applying to be listed as accredited. Renee is a rep for AFFILIATES, although can pass on problems relating to player issues. Max & Bryan have contacts at CR.
The main problem is the aggressive and often misleading marketing they conduct on existing players, which leads many into the trap of taking up an offer that they were personally sent, yet one that turns out NOT to be in keeping with overall CR bonus policy, much of the criteria for which is "secret", rather than being laid out in the terms and conditions.
After a considerable wait, I DID eventually get my loyalty points from Playshare, but there was no notification, they simply turned up in my rewards account, and only by checking on point history could I see that it was a transfer of loyalty points from the old Playshare casinos.
The thing that was NOT carried over was any status earned at Playshare, so even top VIP players had to start at the bottom & work their way up. CR may have offered instant VIP status to a select few, as this is what happened to me when CR swallowed Casino Action, which was my main place of play, with true instant Neteller withdrawals up to £2000 per day, per casino.
CR usually lock the rewards account, but there HAVE been instances of confiscation of winnings for more serious cases of bonus abuse.
That 5000% bonus on $1 is another example of their somewhat misleading marketing, since this is really only a $50 free chip, but by adding a nominal $1 deposit they can claim it is a 5000% bonus.
There is also a 48 hour pending period, so payment can be a bit slower than other casinos, although the faster paying casinos seem to be drifting towards a 48 hour pending period.
