    G's online Casino - BEWARE

    Hi guys and gals

Despite not posting here for ages, I still enjoy coming in for a read. However I just thought I'd post a little warning if any of you consider playing at G's casino...It's more a warning about questioning their integrity than anything else.

Despite not playing online casinos rarely these days - for the type of reasons G's casino have showed - I played a little bit of poker with them and, being a typical gambler, got dragged into playing at their casino games. I've always enjoyed the expanding wilds slots and Amazon Wild is one of theirs. I played it for a few thousand spins varying my stakes as I went. The expanding wilds, as it transpired, only ever appeared on reels one and three -so I checked the paytable details and it says: 'Any 2 wilds found on a reel expand to fill the entire reel with wilds.' (I have a screen print).

A little confused I wrote them an email, asking if there's a possible technical fault because of the expanding wilds only appearing on reels one and three. In addition I asked that if there is no fault (and this is how the game plays) can they give me an explanation as to why the details are somewhat misleading to players. If they couldn't do this, I wrote, then perhaps it'll be best they closed my account as I felt it is very wrong to dupe customers. I got a short sharp reply that didn't state categorically there was no fault and didn't even mention being misleading...This a small part of that reply:

...we would not jeopardise our position as a respectable company, by seeking such narrow minded short term gains by cheating players.

Overall it was awful customer service, they closed my account and basically told me to P off...So just a word of warning...play there if you must but their customer service is bloody terrible.

Have to say I have had an account at G Casino for some time and play regularly and have found them fine although to be fair I have never needed to contact support. They are operated by the same company as Blue Square (Rank Group) and it's the online portal for the land-based Grosvenor Casinos chain.

Sorry you had a bad experience here but would say that they are 100% trustworthy plus they pay fast

I wouldn't have minded a fair and honest answer to my query, even if I still believe the paytable information gives one the wrong impression...Their other expanding wild slot games tell you which reels they are on...I also still think it weird that a slot only has expanding wilds on reels one and three.

Still, it doesn't distract from their customer service rep being rude, ignorant and a tad sarcastic.

I wrote back again only to receive a reply from the team leader...

He clearly didn't read my Email properly and gave me some feeble and uninterested
answer...talk about a lack of 'attention to detail'

Anyhoo...I've written back again and I'll wait and see what happens next.

    Is that Tony G's casino?

Maybe you should call them or contact their manager?

It's G's casino- they have a number of land based units here in the UK...

They are part of the London-based Rank Group, the gaming web site known as G Casino is part of a network which includes Grosvenor Casinos, the second largest casinos business in the UK.

Only a suggestion but you might want to bite your tongue before accusing them of duping customers. Then you might have got a polite answer back. I know with some CS staff it seems like your speaking with a droid, but you just need to roll with it, if you want a definitive answer back.

It's a fair point and, to be honest, I didn't outrightly accuse them of duping customers, more that it 'could be argued' that this was the case. CS staff stick to a script and I doubt they have any room to manouver on certain points. I asked two simple questions and neither the CS person nor the supervisor has answered either yet.

All my Emails to them thus far have been polite and I haven't ranted at all.

This complaint is now gone higher up the chain but I've been asked to be patient whilst it is investigated, although I've been waiting for three days now.

    Anyway...

I did a little nosing around re this particular slot and came across this in one of the reviews: •If 2 WILD symbols are revealed on the same reel - one at the top and one at the bottom - then they will expand to change the two symbols in-between them to WILD symbols as well, and so increasing your chance of getting several wins. This applies on any reel. http://vegas.williamhill.com/rules/s...amazon-wild/#4

The interesting bit is in red...I spun a few thousand spins on this slot and not once did I see the expanding wild on reels 2, 4 or 5...Does that sound right? Surely that isn't a case of a 'bad run'....If the expanding wilds are supposed to appear on all reels then surely you'd see them on all reels (either on their own or together) at some point over the course of 2500 spins. If they are only supposed to be on reels 1 and 3 then surely we, as players, should be made aware of that?

    Hmmm

    Hmmm
I ran a couple of hundred spins yesterday on it in Fun Mode and noticed the same thing - just Reels 1 and 3 - but 200 spins is a very small sample to be fair. Might do some more testing.
