    not solved afterall

I dont understand the jackpot prize of microgaming casinos who have above the slots images and info the coin prize. Ive actually seen a slot that has 500 coins as jackpot and then the minimum bet of all lines in that slot is 300 coins - what is that?! The jackpot makes me win 200 coins!??!?!?!?!? That means a total of $2 dollars!! *ANGRY FOR NOT GETTING THIS*

    Hopefully im just crazy

Games like Alaskan Fishing, LOTR, TSII etc, are 243 way win slots. This is just a fancy way of saying 243 win lines, regardless of how they dress it up.
The jackpot on Alaskan Fishing is actually a screen full of wilds, which would be 500 coins x bet x 243. For me (the bet I use = 5 coins x 30 = 150 bet or £1.50) that would actually be a jackpot of 607500 coins, or £6,075.00 (not bad for a £1.50 bet!).

The jackpot of 500 is 5 wilds, but you wouldn't just win for 5 wilds, seeing as every other reel symbol would pass through 4 wilds each on their respective 'line', so the minimum would be 5 wilds, plus 5 of a kind (of varying symbols) 10 other times.

    Hope that makes sense

    H1 roller

Thanks for answer, but why do the casinos say 500 jackpot coins prize when it actually can be won more than that?

Because the maximum coin win, per line, is 500 coins. This, of course, is then multiplied by your own bet. Because this changes by person, it's better to list it as 500 coins, rather than the biggest win possible (as this might be misleading).

Some people will only bet 1 coin (actually 30) = 500, whereas others will play 10 coins (300) = 5000.

That's only on a coin value of 1p/1c - you can change the coin value to 2p/2c or 5p/5c etc meaning the top win obviously gets bigger and bigger....

1p/1c = 500 coins at that value (£5.00, then multiply by bet)
2p/2c = 500 coins at that value (£10.00, then multiply by bet)
5p/5c = 500 coins at that value (£25.00, then multiply by bet)

Now I get it, great, thank you!

    But what about..

Then what about the slot gam Robin Hood Feather? It pays out over 1 million coins, and has 243 ways to win, does the same calculation as the alaska slot count here too?

Its actually the same game as Alaskan Fishing with different pictures (AFAIK) but what I have noticed Microgaming have been doing lately has been changing their calculations from what was explained very well above, to what CAN be achieved if you are betting max, and get the best possible combination, just to confuse us all......

SO for most MG slots it is five of the best thing, but for slots released in the last few months it appears to be the best you can do playing maximum bet.

    Hope that helps!
