    Am I crazy? (re: Bodog)

After becoming disappointed in the way virtually all RTGs have been playing for me this past year, I ventured over to Bodog. I said before that I wouldn't play there, but for some reason I decided to give it a go. I know some of the games still run on the old RTG platform, which Bodog has the source code to, supposedly. What immediately grabbed my attention, was how much playing time I got on what I deposited ($150), compared to the other RTG's I have been playing. There was a deposit bonus of 15% applied to this deposit, but I went to live chat and requested the bonus removed. I played for a whole week on that money. I could have withdrawn about $300 total at one point, but I went chasing a couple of random jackpots, which I didn't get.

The following Monday, I logged in and there was a comp in my account of $15, which I ran up to $500 on Witches and Wizards, then decided to go chase some more RJ's. Not their fault, but mine for being willing to take that risk. Oh, well...I'm sure we've all been there.

Today, I sent off an email because I wanted to know specifically what my payout options are, being from the USA. I wasn't sure about accepting a check or Mypaylinq. They have another option called "money transfer" and I wanted more specific information on it. Not even 30 minutes from when I sent my email, I got a phone call from a nice lady, who explained that my future withdrawals could be sent to me by Western Union and I could pick up my money in person at any Western Union location. This was pleasing to my ears. I was very impressed with this prompt customer service too.

So, there are 3 perceptions I have:

    1. If I win, I can get paid easily

    2. Customer service is great, so far

    3. I feel like it's possible to win there, which is a refreshing change

They just sent me a 50% reload code with a 20x playthru and it has no max and from what I see, it does not say non cashable.

Am I crazy, or is this a very good casino? How fast do they pay?

If you were able to get all that from an RTG (love the Western Union option) I may have to revisit them. I've never really played there. Thanks!

Well, I just confirmed by phone that the bonus is cashable, once wagering is met. I never normally expose 100% of my money to a 20x rollover requirment for anything less than 100% match, but I think I may try it, since I can cash out everything. I think there is a fee for Western Union, however.

If it is nominal I would do it. Anything below $70 is practically a gift anymore....the fees the processors and casinos are charging is ridiculous.

I don't play there anymore, but it was always on my shortlist of favorite places - payouts are nearly as fast as 3Dice, and yes, the Monday morning comp (some % of last week's losses) always made Monday mornings something to look forward to. Once verified, which was admittedly a bitch, it was always smooth sailing. People here complain, for what reason I can't figure out, but it was my favorite place to deposit, esp. because they had the poker room, as well. The deposit bonuses are relatively new - they didn't have those this time last year.

    I really miss Bodog.

Did you get on a losing streak, or why did you quit playing there?

Even if you request a check, you will receive it faster then most other rtg's send you e wallet payments.

Good casino, also nice that you can play poker there and bet on some sports games all with the same wallet.

Yes, I did get on a losing streak last summer, and closed my account. Sucks because I was a long-term customer. I should see what they say now, given how much time has passed.

Well I decided I would give Bodog another try...I have deposited there several times and never got any playtime...However, I have always felt they are very reputable..I know I see Bodgo Becky in the forum quite a bit..One thing I do remember is how slow this casino is to download...I will be waiting all night for it to install....Hey but maybe I will be lucky

Thank you for the positive feedback, I will send this thread directly to the Bodog Casino manager for his review.

Also, just to clarify the RTG situation, the casino software licensed to bodog brand licensees is no longer accurately described as the “RTG Casino” product. BodogBrand acquired the rights to the RTG Casino source code in early 2007 and since then the product has been significantly enhanced and has undergone continuous development. Today, the casino platform licensed to the Bodog brand licensees is effectively a wholly proprietary product.

Thank you very much and please let me know if you have any questions,
