    MG Banking Problem?

    Hey Gang

Is anyone else receiving this error message when they try to get to the banking page:

An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact your casino operator should the problem persist.

I'm wondering if it's just me or a system wide thing.

I encountered a similar problem this weekend when attemping a VISA deposit. It failed going to the verification page.

After clearing cache upon support's suggestion, and later rebooting, with still getting the same error, I had success depositing through the flash version.

I was told I was the first player with this problem, perhaps I'm not the last.

Maybe try using the flash casino to deposit? You can still log back into download with your balance. Worked for me. "Cept for that pesky winning part

I often seem to get 'An unexpected error has occured' when trying to deposit as long as the downloading of the new games AND the other 478 games is still in progress.
Waiting 2 hours until its finished, then restarting the casino usually solves the problem.

Here we go again new slots = having to re-download the entire suite of games. Insane that MG can not change the way this works. Each time they launch a new game everything has to be re-downloaded

Banking section was also slow as hell for me last night - I gave up in the end. Just checked a few MG casinos this morning and there they are happily re-downloaded and installing every friggin game. I pity people who have download limits!

I'm on a satellite connection, so I would have to wait until 2AM to 7 AM to redownload the complete MG software (and then I would only have time to do 1 casino a night). Otherwise I would exceed my fair access policy and would wish for dial-up again (pretty sad). I never understood why they couldn't figure out how to just add the new games, there must be a programmer out there someplace who can figure out how to rewrite the new games addition software.

BUT, I also would have the same problem with RTG and Rival, so maybe it isn't possible? Just seems like a waste of time when the player has to sit and wait for their favorite games to reload everytime there is an update. Time and money wasted that the casinos could be collecting.

I remember a few years ago, several of the MG casinos would do their updates and when I would log in AFTER the games "supposedly" reloaded there would be NOTHING there. I think VWM and a few others also experienced this. It's a pain to have to do this everytime an update is done (thank goodness they don't do several a month).

And when they were doing these updates, I wouldn't be able to deposit until after the whole kit-n-kaboodle was done.

I kept getting this when withdrawing, and this has been going on since last year. I have found that using the Flash banking usually works.

I don't believe that NO-ONE has reported this before, and it looks like there is actually a policy to tell EVERY player who reports an issue that "no-one has reported this before", whether this is true or not.

    They DO!

32Red has done update number TWO. The first one took about 2 hours, and I left it logged on until it was done. I then spent 2 days updating the rest.

Yesterday, I launched 32Red only to find it was updating AGAIN, and it took ANOTHER two hours.

@VWM that really sucks, you'd think these casinos would get a clue and write in some code so players can reload only the games they want when this happens, instead of spending 4 hrs of wasted time. There are a lot of really intelligent code writers out there who I'm sure could figure out a way to bypass this frivolous insanity.

That was about one of the only things I really had to complain about MG casinos. (Except for when I was transferred to the clone, which in my opinion, game play changed)

What makes you think I haven't already figured out how to do this

One method is simply to launch the desktop application whilst the internet is disconnected. The updater will "time out", and the software will launch. You have to remember to reconnect the internet before logging in. The downside is no new games, and you have to do this every time you want to play.

This would at least allow those with download caps to "traffic manage" the process, yet still be able to deposit & play whilst only allowing one casino per day to take the update.

It is also possible to make a "once only" adjustment through setting "read only" access on the updater folders. Only when the situation reaches a critical state will the casino stop working altogether.

Since I don't have a download cap, there is no real benefit for me in going to all this trouble except on the very rare occasions where I can't even have a 2 hour outage affect my play, such as an update hitting on the last day of a big tournament.

It just seems more reasonable to me , that the MG casinos should allow the players to be able to pick and choose which games they want to load. The complete MG casino takes up considerable harddrive space. I was a slots only player, so to have to load the poker games, the keno, BJ, and everything else was a waste of time. Out of all their slots, I chose to play maybe 50% of them, so yet another waste of space and time. And if I remember correctly, I was unable to deposit OR withdraw until the casino was finished loading all the way.

I`m the only one having issues

I didnt have issues with banking but client started producing really weird results.

Up to that moment beside certain glitches that were solved by deleting cookies this time it was something else. It turned out I had my southbridge failing but problem existed even after I changed MB and put extra RAM into it. So I contacted support again and they forwarded the case to MGS. In the meantime client started having REAL issues, it was clean install of everything which started acting up not immediately but after a session with only minor lag issues caused by autodownload.

MGS came with a verdict, my specifications dont meet minimum requirements for client. I was like laughing and mad at the same time. Not only did they ruin 2 sessions I played with this but also they claimed it was the comp config causing problems which is better than the last one I used to play without such issues.

I told Ben that they can email me when MGS get their act together and finally test those updates before they put them out, until then I`ve uninstalled every trace of any MGS casino from computer.

On the good side, after those threads about junk leftover cookies that caused client to freeze MGS finally, and within few days, got rid of them and I cant find any junk left in any of my temp folders after i close the client. Who knows maybe this thread will make them fix these issues as well.
