Casinojoy. Cryptologic. Warning to the players. Carefully read Terms and Conditions of the bonus, otherwise you may void the winnings.

In early January to deposit 800 euros I received a monthly bonus of 200 euros. I have read in the Terms and Conditions that my favorite game of video poker is allowed for this bonus and start playing in a 5-line JoB. (total bet of 125 euros). I collected Royal Flush and eventually won more than 23,000 euros. After that my account was closed for inspection and I got a letter:

We must inform you that your recent win on Video Poker is being withheld due to a breach of the promotional Terms & Conditions.
This decision has been taken after reviewing your bonus activity to date. As per the Promotional Terms and Conditions, in the interests of fair gaming, players may not place individual bets equal to or in excess of 25% or more of the value of the bonus credited to their account until such time as the wagering requirements for that bonus have been met, i.e. an individual bet relates to the total amount wagered on one spin of the roulette wheel, one individual hand against the house in table games or blackjack (double up in any individual hand is permitted), one deal of the cards in video poker (no matter how many hands are chosen to play with) and one spin of slots. CasinoJoy reserves the right to refuse withdrawals and lock all accounts of players found abusing this rule.
On the 2nd January you placed bets which were in excess of 25% of the bonus amount you were credited. Therefore the winnings have been removed from your account leaving only your original deposit amount.
You are of course still able to visit the casino and wager on any of our games.
    Regards,
    CasinoJoy Management

It turns out I did not read to the end of Terms and Conditions and my bet could not exceed 50 euros. I am very sorry that I was deprived of such a big win and I just want to warn other players - very carefully read the rules for the bonus.

This term is becoming more widespread, but this is the first time I have heard of it in a Crypto casino.

The term often goes unnoticed by the more aggressive player, who is also the player most likely to trip up on it. Since it is calculated on BONUS, it doesn't seem so much when you have a mere 25% bonus and a bankroll of some 1000. even so, 125 bets on a 1000 bankroll is pretty aggressive play.

It's certainly worth looking for such a rule, and even if one isn't obvious, be cautious about betting more than about 20% to 30% of the bonus per bet. The rule grew from discussions surrounding the vague "large bets in proportion to the bonus" rule that casinos relied on before. Players here, including me, pressed for a more exact definition of "large bet" so that players knew exactly where they stood.

It's a shame you got caught out by not being aware of this term.

It is a shame you got denied your cashout.

I want to thank you for not accusing the casino of cheating you, for taking your share of the blame in not fully reading the rules, and for sharing your story so that others can avoid the same pitfall.

Although it bites to lose winnings that way,it is refreshing to see someone taking responsibility for their actions like an adult.

Most crypto casinos including intercasino have had this term for over ½ years now. The bonuses are tough as it is, this term makes no sense to me. The bonus amount here was small compared to the deposit. I dont think it should be applied at all.
