where and how to deposit/withdraw

hey guys. just a general question:

as you may or may not know, i am from canada. i haven't played or been online here very much lately, and i wanted to know what i need to do to play. which casinos am i capable of playing at, and by which methods must i deposit and withdraw?

back then i used neteller until it stopped serving canada/gambling, then moneybookers, click2pay, or credit card straight up. right now all i play is 32red (though not since reformatting my pc) because they can pay back straight to visa; are there any other casinos who do this? or is there a reliable e-wallet type solution for canadians now and which casinos accept it?

i've been very out of touch with the gaming scene, and specifically i want to play pokerstars so i'll check their site for info, but i also want to play some casino games so which are the safest and fairest casinos these days, and by what methods can i most easily get money in and out of casinos? when i tried to search about deposit methods i got a lot of stuff about the usa aiming to discourage gambling by intercepting and closing down deposit methods, so i just wonder if it's safe and convenient enough to play. if y'all could point me to the safest, easiest way to get playing, i'd much appreciate it.

I like Instadebit as a Canadian, I've used it since May and never had an issue. It's a Canadian company that now only accepts people from Canada. Many casinos have it as an option, and 32Red will have it soon (if they don't already).

3Dice and Bet365 (as well as 32Red) have paid back to my prepaid Visa. I think you need to be prepared to have an alternate withdrawal method available if your withdrawal exceeds the total of your deposits with Visa, but you can get a bank wire from all of the above.

I'm still using Moneybookers, and happy with them too. I've only ever funded my account with casino withdrawals, and only used the wire option for withdrawals. My bank charges $14 for an incoming international wire transfer. Another Canadian player I know receives cheques from Moneybookers, usually receives them within a week in the mail.

hey thanks guys. i heard of instadebit before but it was only in its fledgling stages when i used to play. i might give it a try. i found out pokerstars does pay out by visa so i have signed up there "bunkiearcher" if anyone wants to try to find me.

and as for those ones you mentioned only pay back onto visa only up to the amount paid into (and thus lost) by visa, i think that's a slap in the face. like if you can actually manage to claw a win back to put you in a positive balance, you cannot get your money back without a song and dance and a jump through some hoops. i know a bank wire is nothing major, but i do recall an event which is now behind me, but where i had money from a casino by wire transfer and none of the cheque cashing places wanted to touch it. if i got stuck taking my payout that way, i would be irked at the time and hassle to get the wire in my hands and then converted to cash.

and someone said moneybookers, i thought they folded up shop to canadians, or at least to canadian gamblers, or maybe to withdrawing from the mb account to canadian banks/cards? maybe not, but i thought i got an email about "changes to the types of services provided to you". anyhow that's when i stopped gambling regularly and settled into the narrow few who do pay back to visa. i just hope i don't run across one who invokes a "wires only after your visa starts making you money" stance, and the worst part is that you're still going to deposit and lose by visa in the future, so why put that cap on there? it seems very arbitrary. but i regress.

so is instadebit becoming a widespread option, like can it be used at many different reputable casinos? i guess i'll just have to decide which casinos to try and see if they have it. but nonetheless thanks for the responses, and if anyone does want to recommend a good fast-paying no-nonsense casino i'll definitely drop by for a look. thanks again guys

I've had funds directly wired to my bank account in the past, I'm not sure why you'd have to use a cheque cashing place for a wire? Funds are available in full, they are not put on hold by the bank.

I know that the amount for the MoneyMart prepaid card is capped at 10K, and you can only withdraw $1,000 per day at ATMs. I like the inconvenience of not being able to instantly spend all my money or go chasing losses, but having to either load from my account and wait 2 days or visit the place in person during their business hours.

I use instadebit a lot - many accredited casinos - MG, RTG, PT have it, the only problem with instadebit is that some casinos will hold your winnings for up to 10 days - really annoying.

if there is no instadebit I use UseMyBank (no fees).Ukash is another option, can buy a voucher at Esso. A bit pricey but you can buy a max 150$ to save on fees and split it online.

to withdrawing from the mb account to canadian banks/cards?

i never had problem with my bank and i received quite a few transfers from moneybookers. there is 14$ change from the bank though for each transfer. No fees to receive money from instadebit .

Instadebit is the only means i use for deposit and withdrawals. At times a few casinos will not pay you back into you instadebit, at this point i place my winnings into moneybookers. For me instadebit was by far the easiest to set up from my bank account over the other methods. Ewallet over a year ago closed off canadian deposits. Moneybookers for me is hell trying to fund it.
