Bet365 random security check

In the last couple of months I had quite some luck playing at bet365 casino.My balance reached six figure yesterday.

It was very weird when I was playing blackjack yesterday, the session was interrupted by the system and I could no longer enter my account, it shows in the page “We Couldn't Recognise Your Details”.I contacted the livechat assistant who told me that my account was suspended whilst “random security checks” were carried out.And I was told that nothing I can do but wait.

Is this normal? I don’t know where this “radom security check” came from.I was just wagering the maximum at blackjack table and there were a lot of up and downs, no bonus hassle or whatever. Well, it is a little bit inappropriate that they interrupt the session while the players are playing to run some “radom security check”, isn’t it?And they just suspend accounts for the “radom security check” without any notice? I tried to enter my login today details but it still failed. And I havn’t heard anything from bet365 yet.

I havn’t played at bet365 casino much since I lost quite a fortune serveral years ago playing the live blackjack. However,I believe bet365 is a very solid&prestigious sportsbook and casino and the balance in bet365 is even more secure than that in a e-wallet account.It is not very likely that they will look for trouble when the player start to win some money.That why I go to bet365 to play big.

Anybody has similar experience？How long will it take? Thx.

I wouldn’t worry too much until you know for sure what is going to happen.
What I think is going on here is that they are assessing your account because they believe you are cheating.
This is nothing new I have heard many stories like this.
Most casinos have the idea that people always lose and when someone actually wins they take it very seriously, as if their games are rigged or broken.
My experience at bet365 has been positive but it wouldn't surprise me if they behaved poorly.

Even for a big outfit like Bet365, six figures is a fairly large balance.

You don't give your location, but some countries are scrutinized more closely than others.

This May they asked me to send my document for the KYC check.(I remember that they had done this once after I registered my account and requested a withdrawal, in the early years)

I sent the required material right after their request (in May this year) and got the following:

I agree that there is probably nothing to worry about. Calling it a "random" security check may be a bit of stretch, but it makes sense that since you just hit six figures, your account was probably automatically flagged so they can check your play for any "cheating".

It shouldn't take that long, they are usually quick with everything and since you appear to be a bit of a 'high roller' they will likely treat you well. Be sure to keep us updated on the situation, there are lots of people here to help if you need it.

I think there is nothing to worry about. Bet365 is extremely reputable gambling portal and even six figures isn't enough for them to start acting like rogue

My thoughts exactly. It is poor practice to throw a player off mid-session, and this is something the rogues tend to do. They are also handling this VERY badly considering this is a high roller, and one already ID verified in May. This is compounded by giving a deliberately vague reason as to why this EXTRAORDINARY action has been taken.

Random Security Check? BULLSHIT, they are checking the SOFTWARE because you have had an unusually positive variance swing near or at max bet.

I once carried out an experiment at Spin Palace, on a mere £1 bet unit. I set the game of Vegas Strip on autoplay, and ran it in bursts of 5000 hands, noting the results each time. These results had me SHOCKED! but in a GOOD way, and prompted me to carry on for 100,000 hands. At the end, I was over 800 units AHEAD. This was a win of £800 on a £1 stake. On a £100 stake, this would have been an £80,000 win, and on the £500 table max would have been £400,000 - a long way into 6 figures.

Either MGS Vegas Strip is RIGGED (and it went wrong), or there is NOTHING WRONG with players occasionally having such VERY long periods of positive variance, and it does NOT mean they are cheating.

If Bet365 claim this is cheating, then Microgaming has been cheating players for YEARS!

The fact that the player was kicked out mid-session suggests this is anything BUT "routine", but rather a "panic" reaction to something they believe is "wrong" happening in the software.

Funnily enough, when the player is DOWN 800 units, the casino would not DREAM of suspending the account and checking the software, and when players have complained about these huge downward swings on Blackjack, they are assured that nothing is wrong, and they were just unlucky.

The OP LOST a fortune at Bet365 when playing live Blackjack, and Bet365 didn't have a problem with this, yet when he wins it back, it has them sufficiently worried to run "emergency checks".

The ONLY way the OP could be "cheating" is if the software is NOT RANDOM, and he has spotted a repeating pattern in the cards, and has adopted a strategy to take advantage of it. This is EXACTLY what the notorious Cipher alleged, and built a strategy engine that could (allegedly) predict when a future hand would be a player win from analysing a run of previous hands and results. the selling point was that you bet low when this "engine" predicted a loss, and bet high when it predicted a win.

Did it work?

Do you see Cipher around now, or for that matter casinos getting "rinsed" through Blackjack?

Bet365 uses Playtech: I can't believe the software is rigged...and even if the OP found a pattern in the game and took advantage of it, this can't be called cheating, isn't it?
In any case, Bet365 is one of the best place to play. Over the years they have established a reputation for excellence in all aspects of gambling (betting, casino, poker, etc.), you shouldn't worry too much.
