technical question-wherre should I post it?

    Hi there,

I have a technical problem with downloading some of the casinos. I hope this is where this should be posted.

Sometimes, when I try to install, a window will pop up and tell me I already have a newer version on the computer and to uninstall it first. However, in so far as I know, in those cases I do not have any version installed.

Would someone be able to help me?

    Thank you,

    Kris

If you are talking about Microgaming, they do store a lot of files in a folder at your main drive, mostly C. Maybe you can have a look into there, if thereÂīs something stored from the specific casino and if yes, delete it manually.

Another thing that may happened is that your system time is not set correct?

I got rid of some junk in C but nothing from the casinos I tried to install.

I checked my system time and all is well.

I also looked in my recycle bin and found some stuff from other casinos in there.

If I am trying to download a casino from a particular group but already have one of their sister sites on my computer, would that show up as a possible problem? Meaning, would it register that I already have that software on my computer?

    Thank you for your help,

    Kris

Yes I think it will show on your pc but that shouldn't cause any problems. It must be something else. try a different browser. browser is the reason for so many problems. LOL

Click on the start button (the main menu for your comp comes up)
    Click on search
In the little box type in the name of the casino (i.e. All Slots)
This will bring up any files being stored on your computer
You can manually delete each file

    Hope this helps.

I have searched for the files, but haven't seen anything that has changed the way the casino installs (or doesn't, as the case may be.)

I will try a new browser next time. Right now I am using firefox.

    Thanks,

    Kris
