My withdrawal was back into my account as of this morning.

I haven't been around in a while so I checked in and read some posts.

My feeling is that everything is so very negative. Thats why I quit online gambling. It is absolutely insane to deposit money at accredited casinos. Play within rules and get stiffed when you win. It happened to me at Lock casino (not accredited any longer at least) and I had no recourse. I see it happening at clubworlds, main streets, inetbet, bet phx and on and on. THATS NOT EVEN MENTIONING THE ROGUES like cleopatras, virtual and those thieves.

So after I had over 1k stolen from me with no help or recourse I just decided it was pointless to gamble with a likely chance that on the rare times that I won I would have my money stolen from me. Why do any of you keep going forward? I rarely read of players having the money stolen and actually having it paid to them. They get you on some odd technicality, or they just lock your account and call you not a real player (happened to me), or they call you a bonus abuser, or they say your part of a conspiracy of fraud, or they say you didnt play in the spirit of thier offer, or they say you were not eligible, or they just lock you out completely with no explanation and you absolutely have no help. CDS = joke that never responds unless CM or somebody outside of the norm prods them.

Instead of online gambling I would rather take an evening and go to a real casino that actually hands me any winnings immediately. I don't have to wait for weeks or jump through hoops or show them my ID 40 times in different ways. I don't get accused of not playing in the spirit of the game or any crap at all. B&M forever more for me. If you all think about it, this is the most slimy business ever. Constant complaints of theft from the very people that we give our money to and must then trust to pay us should we win.
I question the collective sanity of those that stay with this. I see nothing but unhappy players having winnings stolen from them and constantly losing money. I don't get the point of it.

I can answer this...I have agoraphobia so I cannot just do as you say...

my only other form of gambling entertainment is scratch off tickets and those get boring, and my nails and fingers get sore, lol. I know other people here who are in my situation or other situations that don't give them the freedom to just drive down to the local B&M.

You were an online gambler, what don't you "get" about it?
    Christmas is coming fast!!!

Just play, I appreciate your situation.

What I meant by "don't get" about it is that while I do understand what is attractive about playing online, it is a losing proposition because there are much too many instances of even accredited casinos just not paying and there is nobody out there that can help. I know CM tries and they look into it but they ultimately can't help. So, what I "don't get" is that we all know there is a strong likelyhood of getting stolen from should you wish to cashout. We are outraged by it when it happens to us and kinda shrug our shoulders when it happens to others. What I don't get is why we continue to put money into dishonest, online casinos. Maybe they didn't steal from you YET, but they will. Read the posts, it is rampant and disgusts me too much to give another nickle to this shady, slimy industry.

    Hi Smittytime

I hear your point and it certainly is logical, but from my perspective it just isn't practical for me and perhaps other on-line players.

It's a bit like a person living in a remote country location who pays exorbitant prices for a half brown, soggy, lettuce, then complains constantly about it. Why not just pack up your home and move to another town where you can have crunchy lettuce every week instead of once or twice a year when you go on hols. Easier said than done. Not many people are in a position to pack up house and live next to crunchy lettuces.

Anyway, you get my point, for me personally I have a disability, (in the brain, not physically! nah just joshin - physically, although I'm sure I could rouse up a few that would beg to differ), so as much as I would love to play in a LB Casino it isn't practical for me, so I have to take "the good with the bad".

And actually I do prefer the environment at home - wear what you want; not getting soaked from wearing a drunks beer then wishing I was a skilled pickpocket so I could lift that $50 before it rolls out onto the wet dunny floor while he fumbles to get his zip down, only to have it picked up by another drunk - geez that just aint fair! (don't get me wrong I love a beer just don't like drinkers that lose control and violate everyone elses space); two seconds to get to the toilet and no queues; sandwiches that cost $2 instead of $10; swear at operator but be allowed to keep playing and not get kicked out by the bouncers; etc, etc, etc.

I only play with what I am prepared to lose, so if I get caught in a trap and lose without having lost it by playing, then it really sucks, but I knew the risks before engaging. If I were to win big and not be paid that would suck even bigger!!!!! But thankfully the forum has alerted me to these risks from member contributions and I once again know the risks before engaging.

Hope this helps with your understanding - we all walk in different shoes and directions - with loads of different scenery along the way.

    Cheers
    StaceyLee

You've got a way with words staceylee; I love that 'live next to crunchy lettuces'.

It sounds like you are really ready for a break smittytime or need to hang it up for good, online anyway. I totally understand your amazement at why some or all of us stick to it. For some, it's what they call life I imagine, others it's a business and for a few more like me, it's a bunch of great entertainment covering a lot of different aspects.

Like here lately, it's been pretty iffy for US gamblers but when you really enjoy something and there's a possibility things could change for the better, then you ride it out and wait. Or maybe you would just as soon move on to something not so iffy. That's ok too but if it causes you this much stress it's time for a change because otherwise you might turn into the crunchy lettuces one would like to live by.

I really hope you find something that gives you a lot less agitation and stress.

    Wink

That is exactly what my first post was about. It is not a safe environment anymore. We, Americans have no recourse against these casinos. They can do whatever they like, but we have to play strictly by the rules.

While I do see where some members like online gaming, because it is done from the comfort of your home. There are some people that do it because of a number reasons, and I am happy for them that they can still enjoy it.

What I get sick from is hearing all the stories where these casinos are shafting them. Why are they shafting them? BECAUSE THEY CAN!!! It is getting to be more and more that the casino will find a loop whole in the finest of print as to not pay a player. And if they do pay the player, whose to say they aren't going to take it back, as in the case of BetFair.

If you were to go back as far as January of this year, (actually further) the forum is full of posts with people being told their payment is on their way and then a month later the player is still waiting for payment. Any Top Game casino is notorious for this. I often wonder how the hell they stay in business. But someone is always depositing there because they are in business.

Up until last month, I have never really had a problem with accredited casinos. And even then some reps went way out of their way to help me. It was not their fault EwalletXpress was seized and never told anyone for 4 days.

Even the new ewallets are not trust worthy. Look how many complaints are on here and all over the net saying how they were double charged and some people triple charged for 1 deposit. But, there are accredited casinos still telling people to use them.

The old ewallets like Quicktender, you have to wait until certain times to be able to deposit with your credit card. What if someone wanted to play at 8 AM, they can't deposit until the evening. Just doesn't add up to me.

Then of course you have the terms and conditions for each casino. Tell me that isn't a freakin' joke. It seems to me that before every deposit, you better read them to make sure you don't fall into the gray area. I mean come on, they can change them at any time, they never notify the players of the change in the terms and conditions. But when you make that deposit, you are agreeing to them. God for bid, a player moves or plays from a hotel room, you better believe your going to go through a bunch of BS to prove that it was you playing from that hotel and that you do have a new address. What if were to play from our summer home that is another time zone? Am I going to get flagged because there is a new ip address associated with my account?

In the end, we are all adults here and make our own decisions, and I am reading more and more where players are making the decision as to not play on line anymore. I too have made that decision. At this point, until things change for the better, which I will say again, is not coming in the near future, I will save my money for my yearly trip to Las Vegas for New Years. (Can't wait, 14 days til Vegas Baby!)Sooner or later these casinos and ewallets are going to feel the loss.

For those of you who continue to play on line, I wish you all the luck in the world.

    LH
