    RTG progressives make winning harder?

Do the random progressives on RTG games make it so the payouts are lower on the base games? sometimes it seems like these games are pretty tight and I was wondering if they are like B&M slot machines. I know if you play games in B&M casino's that have progressives on them, these games generally withhold more money from players to put towards the progressive jackpots, making it so the player does not win as often on the base games. Just curious if anyone has thought about this and if it applies to these games at RTG as well?

Thats true, the random jackpots are ofcourse paid by the players.
I believe Dogboy once said that 1.5% of the money played through goes into the RJ's.
That would lower the overall RTP, unless ofcourse you're lucky enough to hit one.

The norm for a B&M is an increment percentage of 0.5% ... Makes a slight difference to the overall theoretical RTP...

If 1.5% as De Beuker pointed out is true... It will have much more of an impact than at a B&M...

Pokerdan... Not taking RTP into consideration... I still love the fact that people are able to hit Nice pays on the RJ's for minimal bets... Beats other software

good point Nate. Most live casinos that have progressives require the player to bet more than minimum to win the progressives. usually you must bet max to hit progressives etc. I guess the fact that you can hit the progressives from betting like 20 cents is a big benefit

I don't currently have an RTG casino installed so I cannot remember if I am correct but I'am pretty sure you will find it mentioned on the pay table.

    Cheers
