    Neteller or moneybookers?

What is your choise? Can u give me sosme pro´s and cons?
I have always used neteller. depositing is instant and when I choose to withdrawl to my bank account, they charge me $10 and it is done in 1-3 business days..
    Is moneybookers cheaper, faster?
I would like as much opinions as possible!

Can't say much about Moneybookers, as I hardly ever use it, but I love neteller.
I now have that Net+ card, no need to transfer the money to my bank first, I can just walk to the ATM and get my money straight from my account.
    Highly recommended.

for me both have its pro and cons, so i use them both

neteller: + higher withdrawallimit on atm compared to mb
+ accepts my credit cards (on mb i have probs since i ahve a new card)

    - their fees, esspecially on atm cash wd´s are way higher unless youre vip
    - they run too much maintaince in which you cant use their services (like right now )

moneybookers: + has for most deposit options a dep limit of just 1€ (neteller 15€)
+ atm withdrawals have a fix fee of 1,80€ (neteller 4€)

    - daily atm limit of 250€!!

for my personal needs theres nearly no difference if use neteller or mb. both i can fund with nearly the same methods, both work for me best on casinos, both offer a prepaid card which is very useful (internet shopping, paying on pos etc)

one pro for neteller is that their net+card is free whereas moneybookers charges a one time fee of 10€ for their card.

i have had some small issues with both of them due to unannounced downtimes where i stand on the atm and it told me cant reach your bank, meant no cash ;-(. or one time mb double booked a payment and needed 2 weeks to fund me back.

but i see they always improove and become more and more reliable.

if youre located in europe its personal choice which one u want to use. i would say both are safe and pretty same in kind of options.

    cheers

For ATM withdrawals, Neteller- higher limits.
For bank transfers to my bank account, Moneybookers- faster (only 1 business day usually). Eventhough, Neteller has free bank withdrawals to VIP members and a small rebate for currency exchange fees. Not familiar what Moneybookers offers to their frequent users

I have reached VIP at Neteller, and at this level there are plenty of perks

Reaching VIP is defined, so their is a way of doing it.

I have looked at Moneybookers, but despite Neteller's shortcomings, what I saw STILL made me decide not to bother having both. I even turned down an offer from a casino to persuade Moneybookers to make me instant VIP if I defected (the casino in question had partnered with Moneybookers, whereas Neteller was simply "another deposit method" for them.

The Neteller maintenance is a real pain though, despite the fact that they are starting to notify more users about it, as well as merchants. None of this helps today, since they have overrun by 4 hours & counting, and there is no explanation for this on their site other than that this was a "major" upgrade, after which things should be much better, especially for VIP customers

I am patiently waiting to lose £1000 at GNUF today, and Neteller are keeping me waiting

From my own experience Neteller has much more respect to its regular clients and their money than Moneybookers. For Moneybookers the merchants are the kings.

    The downtime sucks indeed.
Knowing Neteller it wont be fixed today..

You can just open a moneybookers account without docs and use it to deposit.

But if you're going to deposit at a casino where you have used Neteller in the past, I would contact support first.
New depositmethod = alarmbells at some places.

I have looked at their facebook page, where we are SUPPOSED to be able to get "live" information. WHAT A JOKE

Facebook "fans" of Neteller are not being told ANYTHING more up to date other than "we are successfully completing the upgrades", and that "Neteller will be back soon".

Clearly, if they had been SUCCESSFULLY completing these upgrades, Neteller would have come back at 10:00 UTC as promised. Something has clearly gone wrong, but they are not willing to give any details. Despite being able to estimate that the process would take 12 hours, they now say they are unable to estimate how much longer than EIGHTEEN HOURS the process will take.

Neteller sometimes overrun a little, but this is a SERIOUS overrun, and has the rumours and disquiet flowing in abundance on Facebook. Some are complaining because Neteller is no longer JUST for online gambling, but offers a card that people use for shopping, paying bills, etc. Customers are stuck at tills, in restaurants, etc, finding a card they expected would be working by now being declined, and not knowing why (some say they were never informed in the first place about ANY outage). A few are saying they ONLY have this card, and are completely stuck with no ability to pay for ANYTHING other than by cash (which, of course, they cannot get at because it is stuck in Neteller).

This would NEVER happen with a PROPER bank, and now that Neteller is trying to get into general payment method provision, they need to ensure that their services do NOT constantly "go down completely" like this, leaving customers in highly embarrassing situations out in the "real world".

I have also learned that my 5 MILLION netpoints have been DELETED - nice of them to have TOLD ME this was planned so that I could have at least thrown them at the last weekly/monthly drawings.
