    Most bonuses suck

Almost all casinos exclude, roulette, craps and bacarrat from receiving play bonuses...wonder why that is?

    Personally I think it sucks

I assume you are serious about this question?

Simple, because you can bet almost even money bets to meet your wagering requirements with little risk. Bet both even & odd, or pass & don't pass, or banker & player and you will keep about 90% of the bonus when you finish the w/r (assuming a single 0 wheel for roulette). They want you to actually risk the money before they give it to you.

A good bj player (dealt a fair game) or a good vp player can keep almost all of it when the w/r are met. That's why most also ban bj and many ban vp, or at least jacks or better.

    1. You can hedge your bets, at least on certain brands of software. The same is true for sic bo. Craps and baccarat have low enough house edge that you could take home a large chunk of the bonus without any risk. Roulette and sic bo have higher house edge, with today's typical high WR, the casinos should not worry about them. These days, when Viper software even has a built-in autoplay function, casino software should be able to recognise undesirable hedged or low risk bets and inform the player that they won't count towards the WR. This would be a much more civilized solution.

    2. These are games of pure chance with no skill involved. You need to put in some effort to be a good blackjack or video poker player, and judging by casinos' payout reports and watching multi player tables, there are plenty of bad players out there.

When I first played BJ online, I managed to lose about 60 units in about 400 hands and almost lost all of my deposit, not just the bonus. I am sure bad luck was involved, but afterwards I found the Wizard of Odds and realized that I had played incorrect strategy. I still did well out of it, because I got a very generous second bonus offer, and I hit a royal flush at video poker.
