So I'm testing out this new Beer Barrel slot in play mode. Even in play mode, which is supposed to play indistinguishably from real money, it sucks. Play deposit $150, and the balance just goes right down; $60, $50, $40 - then finally, I get 10 free spins! $6.down to $25, and I get free spins again! $7.25.
Keep in mind, this is play mode. So what is the point of depositing real money then?![]()
Want some rye? Course you do.
I don't think nobody is disputing the variance but what happens after a few minutes or several minutes of play. The wheels slow down to a crawl, jerk or keep spinning and then give you an error message that you have lost connection even though you're still connected on your end.
It happens everytime I get to the bonus round on gobblers gold or if I'm just playing. I find this very annoying as I've had to log out on several occasions. It was so bad on Pantasia and Vegas Regal to the point where I just uninstalled both of them.
Waiting on something interesting
Admittedly, yes, variance is a fact. I did not mean to suggest that on the basis of a few spins, I have proof that the games are rigged - nothing of the sort.
At the same time, I would say that it is my personal experience that Rival is as tight these days as RTG and consequently, as with RTG, I deposit far less on Rival than I did once. Obviously, mileage can vary. Just adding my two cents here.

My experience is that some of the games slow down the play, Jaques Pot and Metal Detector beeing the worst, but also Psychedelic Sixties after the Pick the Hippie bonusround.
After playing one of these I usually restart the casino, which solves the problem.
The disconnects are really irritating and happen much too frequent lately.
For the payouts, had a few cashouts in the past 4 weeks, cant complain, but the strange thing is, I usually win on the Scary Rich games and So 80's, then lose it on the lower variance games.
Some games I never ever win on, like Secret Garden, Ocean Treasure, Grandma's Attic and Hobo's Hoard.
How these games manage to reach their RTP I'll never know..
Hi, Funeral! I had many of the same types of issues with many MG casinos, especially being booted out of play during all sorts of games. Kept getting 'error code 0', and 'cannot connect to the casino'.
After much fustration, use to go to live chat but got the same sorts of responses like it must be your internet connection etc,. ect. Finally after a couple weeks of this i started calling the MG casinos and mostly got the 'uninstall and reinstall routine. but as well along the way, i also got a few and i feel honest responses by some MG casinos that 'yes,'there is in fact a software issue' and they were aware of it and they also told me that other players were complaining as well.
Finally i had felt somewhat vindicated cos i was beginning to think maybe something was wrong with my system? Also, i might point out that these problems seemed to of coincided when Mg started doing all those upates to their software.
Anyways, i finally decided to not just give up on MG casinos but to stop all internet play completely and finally return to B/M casinos only. I read Meisters site all the time and read of all the issues players have and i just feel that there are too many issues, and really, the software platforms the casino have are are not very good overall.

So, we ARE being lied to, and this could explain why MGs NEVER PROVIDE FEEDBACK when such issues are forwarded to them, since providing feedback would entail them admitting that there WAS a problem at "their end".
It seems they give players solutions to try that they KNOW have no real chance of working UNLESS the reinstalled casino has been fixed. This is why reinstalling the casino usually does NOT resolve the issues.
I have found this problem gets worse when using "tabbed gaming". The lobby allows up to 5 games, but it cannot COPE with running 5 independent games through the connection to the server, and games get disconnected one by one, which in turn exposes yet ANOTHER bug in the software that prevents any and all access to any games that are still running. This means you could watch a surviving game burning through your remaining balance, yet be unable to stop it, or exit the casino. I have had this happen more than once. The ONLY way out is to use "task manager" to close the casino, or pull out the internet cable (or router power supply), which will stop further wagers from being made. This removes the urgency, and a measured approach can then be taken to investigating the problem.
