    Technic used in roulette

Hello, I'm new here, and I want to ask you guys a question.
A friend of mine says his using a technic for playing roulette online, and he never looses, he showed me the technic and it's really truth!
But I then wonderer, does the casino let people do that...
The technic is to choose a color and when you loose you double your bet... allways like that, so is this cheating? Or is it allowed to use?
Thank you by now, see ya

Sorry, but your last post made me laugh.

The only way play at online roulette would be considered cheating would be if you some how tampered\hacked the game.

The betting strategy you have described is the Martingale system. It doesn't work for two reasons:

    1. The most important reason the Martingale doesn't work is the fact that your bankroll is limited. If you're playing on red using the Martingale on European roulette at a $1 minimum with a $1,000 bankroll, it would only take a streak of ten blacks or zeroes to reach a point where you could not wager. Furthermore,

    2. Table limits prevent infinite doubling.

Hiya: Not EVERYONE knows what the martingale is. At one time, "YOU" did not know.................

Depending on how many times he x2 the bet, and the bankroll he had, he could go a long time before losing. example is,
$1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-500, "as 500 is usually the max bet".

Every time you win bets, in a row, you make $1 profit.
Every time you lose 1 to 8 bets in a row, you get back $1 profit.
When you Win on the 9th made, you had a net loss of -$12
When you Lose 10 or more in a row, you have lost $1011.
You now only need to go 1012 spins in a row without that losing streak happeninjg again to get back to $1 profit.

Real word results. Lets say i did this betting on Red? If I had actually done this, using the last 1011 spins i played at a casino, i would have ran into this streak only twice. I made a Profit of $1090. I lost $12 of that profit twice. And i lost $1011 of that profit twice.
"For a Net LOSS of over -$1110.

Of Note, the 2 losses occured one at the beginning, "meaning i would need another $1000 to have, to get back what i just lost, and the other happened near the end. So, in the middle, i went over 800 spins in a row without losing. As you see, it does not happen often, BUT IT DOES Happen.
"All I want, is to WIN my fair share, and maybe just a teeny bit more"

System players are potentially bigger losers than everyone else. Think about why....

Not everyone knows what Martingale is, but everyone should be able to apply some simple logic into their lives.

    1. If there was a man who figured out a process that could make gold out of sand, and potentially make billions, do you think he would tell the process to a friend, or create an E-book and put it out on piratebay for that matter?

    2. If there was a bettingsystem that could beat online roulette, wouldn't every casino on the internett go bust within a week?

Those two questions are questions I wish every poster who goes on about Martingale and other "winning roulette strategies" ask themselves before they go on and post\discuss about it here.

You don't need to understand the math behind it, simple logic would give you the answer as to why there is no such winning system.
