RTG Experiment with Aztecs slot

So perplexed about a casino, which shall remain nameless for now and why I could absolutely NEVER get ahead on Aztecs I decided to play this slot in Fun Play as the payout is supposed to be the same as real.
I deposited $300 fun money, set the bet amount to a buck and let it spin.

Well over 2000 spins now, highest win so far, about $70, never above the original $300 and the kicker, I just hit the feature after approx 675 spins and walked away with an astounding $15, that is when my remaining balance was $35. All other features, probably 5-7 of them never paid more than $20 on a $1 bet.

Now I know I need millions and millions of spins to even get close to true RTP but I am wondering could this be right?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this scenario why they came out with Aztec's with the feature guarantee? It has to hit the feature within 150 spins. My guess is lots of people were complaining about it.

Just shortly after this post, down to my last 3 bucks I hit 4 scatters. $15 right off the bat... total win... get ready for it $75.00

@takethemoney I don't recall that personally but it is certainly possible. However it seems to me that this slot is only THIS tight at this particular casino. I have had some crazy wins at other casinos on this slot.

That's a personal pet peeve of mine. Casino Games that have special bonus games without seemingly ever allowing you to play em! Sometimes I don't even mind about the payout - just let me see the feature.

Hiya: Actually, it is GOOD that you lost. Because if you had Won in FREE mode, then went back to Real Money and lost again, what would you think now?

My pet peeve to! There is nothing worse than having spent time and money playing and never seeing the bonus rounds, or even the high paying symbols as was in another thread. It's like, what's the point, the game doesn't pay didly, so you hope to make up for the lack in the bonus round and still get more didley.
Must be a psychological thing where they make the player think the bonus rounds will make up for the crappy play, but hey, guess what, Not!!!!

The only way to get a good play off that one is to find yourself a time machine and travel back to about 2006, the summer was hot and so was that slot. sigh.........

Oh yes, back in the day when you could pick most any game and play on $25 for a week!

Frankly, if I ever played online again seriously, it would never be with RTG, any of them. I feel they have it set up to where you will buy your wins at an infltated rate.

I've played it a few times at BoDog... Got the feature (if I recall correctly) and hit over 1k (I think it was 1.8k) on a 10-20 buck bet... I can’t remember that well but it was definitely over 1k :)

Slot is High Variance though and I’ve gone ages and ages without the FS sometimes...

There is another slot on RTG (I think its Diamond Dozen) where you need three blue diamonds on the first reel to activate the FS... and the White Diamonds are scatter wilds...

I remember that I ONLY once got the FS on that game although I had hits over 1k as well... Seems terribly difficult to get the FS…Anyone else have the same experience?

Yes I used to love that slot but didn't even waste my time on it this time around. Totally lost it's pazazzz. You have to work toooo hard anymore for it to be fun let alone worth it. They ought to realize we aren't all out of control addicted players willing to throw whatever it takes down a bottomless pit and if they want my money again, they'd better give me a little more to be excited about. As it stands now, nothing has changed at all and I will continue to put my money elsewhere.
