Hey I was wondering if someone could explain what this 2nd email message below means I have been playing casino for 4 weeks and deposited £160 by debit card in first 3 weeks.Yesterday I tried making my first withdrawl £160,it takes 4 working days its available for reverse withdrawl and is then processed. Not the greatest prefer instant withdrawl ,are all playtech casino the same??.

But today I recieved 2 emails
1.one asking for my identification copy of debit card and photo i.d,was fine with this done it before with other mg casinos.
2.The second email says this:
"We have received your withdrawal request. Please note that before funds can be credited to your account, we must first verify receipt of such funds. Consequently, there is a verification period of between six to fourteen business days. The length of this period varies slightly depending on your deposit method. When we verify that your funds have arrived, we will continue processing your withdrawal. This current withdrawal request does not apply to any future deposits. Please note that clearance is needed only on deposits made before and on the date of your request. When your withdrawal is processed, you will receive notification by e-mail."

Maybe this is normal for playtech casinos but it just seems giving them money is instant no hassles and dont care where it comes from. But trying 2 get mony back is like gettin blood out of a stone!! A possible 14 days is a joke!

Thanks for the heads up! I have thought about depositing at Circus, but a four day pending period is just too much. I know most playtech's do the same, but I guess the fact they're listed here made me think otherwise.

I recommend you try Bet365, they paid me a $5K+ withdrawal in just a few hours the other day.

Hmmm. On the reverse time, I had 12 hours and got a cashout in 24, although admittedly that was last year. This is run by Genting who havea good rep in land-based so I can't imagine they would put their customers through a 4 day reverse/cashout period.

On the second point, I could see that is possible for credit card deposits because of chargebacks, also for some countries that are deemed "high risk", but a debit card from Scotland seems odd.

And no, this period of waiting isn't normal for Playtech casinos, although some like Mansion do as for signed verification on card deposits the first time. And although 4 days processing is the default there are plenty that do 48, 24 or even quicker.

I have a contact at Circus - I'll alert him to this thread to see if we can get a response.

Ok thanks.
But Ive just checked my account and my withdrawl is not available to reverse so i guess it has maybe been processed,24hrs. Even though i defo got a message telling me it would be available for reverse for 4 days?,this may be an error on there end. But as for the up to 14 working days verification period, I will just have 2 wait see what happens there.

hi you shouldnt have any problems here , though make sure you do send in docs , you will most likely get it before 4 working days i had mine around a day later so dont panic there good to go, big company in uk land based casinos all over:thumbsup:

Hi all,

My name's Al and I'm the affiliate manager at Genting/Circus. Our withdrawals are processed the following business day after a player has made a withdrawal request, so within 24 hours.

Hi Al, welcome to the forum.
I can confirm having played at Genting the payouts are in my moneybookers account within 24-48 hours from withdrawal request.
Unfortunately they do not flush withdrawals manually or process over the weekends but they are reasonably quick and have excellent CS.

Al, can you confirm when Genting will have the Marvel slots and is there any chance you will consider manual flush of withdrawals in the future to loyal players?

The following business day ,you say? I was asked by Circus to send physical notarized copies to some address in philipines in order to be paid. It is supposed to cost me a lot of money to notarize and then send by express mail these type of documents. Also it is somehow seems to be risky. And the last...it will take , I suppose, 24 days at least and not 24 hours as you state.

That sounds very wrong.
What was wrong with your scanned images and what proof did they ask you to send?
I would get on to Alderney if I were you and complain.

They never asked me for the scanned images. Two days after I requested about 300 euro withdrawal I got an email from Circus requesting me to send NOTARISED physical copy of my ID to some address in the Philippines. Also they are not going to cover any expenses for notary as well as for an express mail.

I can never understand why a Casino allows you to deposit without verification and then asks you to send documents to the Philippines if you want to withdraw... Come on?

Surely these conditions should be explicitly specified under withdrawal conditions if Circus is accredited? I for one would never play at any casino who wants me to send documents by snail mail for withdrawal...

GentingAl - is there any reason for this? Is this applied to certain withdrawals only?

Good Luck on your withdrawal hakapuku...

Nate

GentingAl is based in LONDON.
Circus casino is licensed by ALDERNEY.

THERE ARE NO PLAYTECH OFFICES IN THE PHILIPINES, just offices for specific Playtech casinos.

What exactly is the connection between Genting/Circus and the Philipines?

Why not use an address in Alderney, or London (where their staff clearly work from)? It would at least LOOK much safer for players.

There seems to be a surge in requests from Playtech casinos to "send notarised copies of your documents to ...... the Philipines".

Players need an explanation of what EXACTLY is going on here, since ANYONE could find themselves faced with such a request.

It is not right that the casino are NOT prepared to cover the additional, and considerable, expense of a procedure that THEY have chosen, over the more usual, and far cheaper, norm.

I have already formed a negative view of Playtech in general, and this does NOTHING to make me rethink my views in a positive direction.

Do Genting REALLY operate this casino, or have they outsourced it.

It is certainly worth asking Alderney about this, and getting THEIR opinion on whether it is OK for their licensees to request players to send their most sensitive information for processing in the Philipines. Since Alderney are whitelisted by the UK Gambling Commission, they would NOT be expected to allow procedures that placed the players' personal information at undue risk of interception and misuse.

If Alderney are OK with this, then maybe get an opinion from the UK Gambling Commission. If they too are OK with this, then maybe the worries are overdone, based on past concerns, rather than the present situation.

It seems from this thread that Genting/Circus have a communications issue. The rep says payment is within 24-48 hours, yet the OP is told that all his debit card deposits are held for up to 14 days before a withdrawal can be processed that results from playing these funds.

I deposit by credit card at many MGS casinos, and have NEVER had this happen to me, it is clearly a "Playtech thing", rather than industry wide.

Interesting to know... Im curious to know as well?

Why is Transparency so much of an issue? If it is an issue of suspected fraud, then at least Circus could elaborate on this?

Good Idea... Good Post! Im interested to see the outcome of such. I saw a thread relating to this, although i can't recall the reason for asking for those documents to be sent there...

GentingAL - Care to Pop in and answer our questions?
